Kate Hauxwell

My name is Kate, obviously, I am 33, part time admin and clerical assistant at my local hospital, and mother of two beautiful, not so little anymore, girls.

I am an avid reader and writer. I also dabble in other art forms. I draw, sculpt clay models, bake a multitude of treats, attempt to play the bass guitar, and have recently started to dabble in costume making for my eldest daughter (the joys of the school years).

I am, currently, a 1st Kyu brown belt in Wado Karate. Have been training with the EWKR association since September 2011. Never would have thought martial arts would be my sport, but I do feel I've finally found my niche in the sports world. 

During the time I've been here I have come across some really great writers and stories so I shall recommend some to you all.
