Lumina Sweeper, a Six, from Likely, is the Thirty-Sixth Selected girl. Out of thirty-five provinces. She, and Honey Bamford, and Two, are both from Likely, but somehow, both of their names were drawn. Prince Travon, who is already a mystery after their mysterious first encounter, seems cold and indifferent towards Lumina. How does a competition that's supposed to make someone feel special make Lumina doubt herself even more? DISCLAIMER: Those that have read The Selection will wonder when this book takes place. I don't know. It exists in the same universe as The Selection, but ultimately doesn't work in terms of timing, and I apologize for that. (Fighting and mild cursing included.)
