Lady Peterson had lost almost everything when her beloved parents died.
Due to the laws of the land preventing women from inheriting she lost her home, the comfort of her old household staff with whom she had grown up with and her station in life.
Now alone with only her closest friend to comfort her, she’s introduced to the most infuriating (albeit beautiful) man imaginable who seems hell-bent on making her life even harder.
