Jonah Winchester seems to be every woman's fool and he swears he's done until a pretty woman bats her lashes and turns him into one yet again. For just a taste of the passion inside dark haired beauty named Scarlett he would do anything. Seems a mans gotta learn the hard way to never trust a pretty woman.
Joe Redding is Gideon Redding's daughter through and through. Tough as nails and more stallion than mare. Her pa raised her to beleive that showing softness is showing weakness and that a person should never need anyone else.
But after circumstances throw these two together, Joe realizes that her pa had been wrong. Jonah teaches her that being a woman and being soft doesn't mean she is weak and slowly her heart is lost to him and for the first time in her life Joe Redding needs someone else.
