Ack! Today's the day!

"You nervous Soob?" Yeonjun asked

I nodded

"Aish, you're gonna do great! Don't worry, I'll make sure your phone is in good hands" he said as he gives me a pat on the back

I deeply sigh as I get myself together.

"You can win this one Soobina! I trust you!" Yeonjun cheered up

I smiled, Hyung has always been my cheerleader eversince we became friends, and it never fails to lift up my spirits everytime he does it.

"Soobin? Come on, it's almost showtime" Ms. Huang interrupted

"O-oh, okay" I said as I get my lab coat and wear it

Ms. Huang smiled and gave me a pat of encouragement

"No matter what happens, I'm always proud of y'all, first or second placer, You did your very best" she said and I smiled

"Wah, no wonder Mr. Jung is really inlove with you Miss, you're very comforting" I said without thinking

She blushed furiously

"Aish, just do your very best y'all, I'll be at the bleachers watching y'all, now remember every formula and every elements, those are the most important ones" She reminded and I nodded as I went towards my team.

And to our surprise, the quiz master for this year's contest would have to be Mr. Jung himself, but wait, isn't it Mr. Byun and Ms. Ahn who's gonna host this contest?

Hmmmm....

I looked at Mr. Jung, he seems, nervous, like really really nervous.

"Something's off" I said

"What's off?" Lucas asked

"Mr. Jung, you know it's Mr. Byun and Ms. Ahn who's gonna be the quiz masters for this year's competition, but why is it Mr. Jung all of a sudden?"

"Oh, maybe Mr. Byun and Ms. Ahn just backed off"

"You can't back off over a competition you know that right"

"Riiiight, well, yeah, I guess something is really off"

"Just don't mind who's the quiz master, the important thing is that we need to win for the school, the school and students deserves it" Mark said as he did some final reviews before the contest starts

We all try to focus for one last review when Mr. Jung approached us

"Hi boys, heard you've been studying hard" He started and we all looked at him and smiled

"Yeah Me, Soobin and Mark really studied hard so that we can attempt to win for the school" Lucas said

"That's great to hear, but can I do one favor?" he asked and the three of us leaned over

"Yeah sir?" Mark whispered

When Mark whispers, this means serious business

"Okay so, I'm planning to propose to Ms. Huang, so that's why I took Mr. Byun and Ms. Ahn's position, they also said they're gonna organize the small engagement party if she ever says yes, so what I want you to do, is to win this competition, the ring is inside the trophy, if and ever you lost, me and the judges already planned to get the ring right before I hand the trophy to the winner, I know this is a bit boring, but Ms. Huang really loves chemistry and I don't know any chemistry shoots like that so... Help me?" He whispered the plan and we all looked at each other, as if we got the same message and nodded

"Sure thing Mr. Jung and I bet she's gonna say yes" Lucas whisper shouted

"Yeah, the looks, the personality, ugh! Definitely fit for Ms. Huang, congratulations already sir, I know you got her yes already" Mark whispered

"Yeah sir, this is gonna be the best proposal ever" I whispered and he smiled

"Thanks boys, and also, good luck" He said with smile before going back towards his designated podium at the center and review some of the questions and practicing it silently

Oh how lucky Ms. Huang is to have Mr. Jung, I really hope she'd say yes.
