Her blood smelled divine. It strongly smelled of pepper & basil. An earthy scent indeed.
Performing this forbidden ritual was a first for us. I have to admit breaking the rules is sort of fun. Well, fun if you forget that the VC could harshly punish us for this.
I took turns on the right side of her neck with Jungwon. Soon enough we all backed away from Engene. Her breathing was slow & she looked absolutely drained. Could you blame her though ?
"Uh, what do we do with her now ?", Jungwon asked. Heeseung looked annoyed by the answer. "We'll take her home with us." It was a shocker for most of us. Sunoo & Jake were especially shocked.
"Carry her, Jay," Heeseung already leaving the library. We all followed suit. "Why not drop her off at home ?", Jay asked dumbly as we neared our house.
I smacked Jay on the back of his head. "She's drained of blood & freezing cold, you idiot. We'll get in huge trouble for performing that ritual."
Once home we wrapped the poor girl in some blankets & let her rest.
