Both you and shoto arrive at the hospital. Hands together, full of expectations. You take your first steps inside the hospital and sign in the front desk.
Its a while before you enter the main part of the hospital. A doctor guides you through the maze like hallways and to your mothers room. Shoto said he'd go to his parents first and come to you later. You were nervous to see your parents because of what might happened to them
You enter the room to see your mom laying on the bed, watching television.

Y/n: mom?

Mom: oh, hi y/n

You sprint towards her and give her an embracing hug

Y/n: what happened? Are you ok? Wheres dad? Why are you acting so calm?

Mom: im not calm...more in shock

Y/n: oh

Mom: i got kid...kidnapped by a green haired boy and...

Y/n: take your time

Mom: thanks hun... i got cut on my chest and legs but i only needed stitches

Mom: dad was...badly injured and we got separated so i dont know where he is

You give your mom another hug along with a few small tears. You let go though at the sound of the door squeaking.

Shoto walks to you and is clearly nervous. You hold his hand discretely under the bed to calm him down

Your mom was clearly shocked by this news. Then gave a weird look. You couldn't tell if it was disgust or anything.

Your mom was going into cardiac arrest. All that blood pumping was not good for her. Before you knew it, your mom was unresponsive

Nothing was working. Shoto pushed the help button while you were trying to do chest compressions. Nothing worked.

Shoto tried to do chest compressions aswell but, no luck. Shoto knew the best option was to wait for the doctors. He was a rational thinker.

Shoto: we tried but we cant do anything, we should let doctors handle this

Shoto grabbed you wrists and forced you to look at him. He knew you weren't going to pay attention.

Y/n grew silent, being shocked over shoto's loud voice. Tears were flooding down your face.

You were looking at the floor trying to regain control over your emotions. You were feeling all emotions at the same time, it was hard to process.
4 doctors came rushing in to aid your mom. It was hard to look at so you just put you face in shoto's shoulders, meanwhile, shoto explained everything calmly.

Shoto: she was spiking in heart rate due to arguments. We tried to calm her down but it wasn't working. We both tried to give her chest compressions but she unresponsive.

Doctor: you did a good job kid, both of you. Go into the hallway, we will try our best

You look up at the doctors

Y/n: is she going to be ok?

The doctors look at you stone faced

Doctor: we will try our best

You walk out the room and the door shuts
