"Stabbing the arrows you missed was their suggested punishment."

Everyone looked at our direction. Obviously they were surprised but nobody dared to even talk back. Even the teachers who were present today on the first weekday ceremony were all shut up.

Alam na nang lahat ang nangyari kahapon. Our soldiers were furious about it. Ipinagpabukas ang parusa kaya ngayon sa ceremony ginaganap. Complete attendance.

"Amazing. No one is complaining. Sayang." Sofi chuckled at Audrey who commented in front. Her comment was heard because she's standing beside Adrian who is in front of the microphone stand.

"My sister was right. If only we knew that no one will complain, we could have agreed with their punishment."

Everyone was puzzled at first but they seem to understood now what's happening. The silent atmosphere a while ago was now filled by whispers.

Sayang. Ian object with our plan. The university can't lost their students due to its purpose. Kaya sa halip na isaksak sa kanilang puso ang arrow para mamatay, why not don't kill them. He want them detained and tortured. Which sounds fun for me so I didn't refuse with his idea.

"The six students will be detained for a week, you know how detention works." With that, Adrian and Audrey left the stage.

Students started to leave the field while having their own says. Hati ang mga opinyon. I guessed majority of the students here really love the thought of someone's death. They know how Mafioso thinks.

"Happy ka?" Tumango na lang ako kay Sofi kahit na mukhang mas masaya pa siya kaysa sa akin.

"Devine Persephene Giovanni and Adrian Lowe." Nagsalubong kami ng lakad ni Adrian hanggang sa malinya kami gaya ng ibang magkapares.

"Okay. Everyone has their own partners now. For this first official training week, tututok tayo sa sparring. Second week, weapons only. And for the last week, duel with weapons. We'll also give you a day to practice on your own. Now, you may all start."

I looked at Adrian who is also wearing our combat uniforms. He looks good with it. I can see how much he was trained based on his physical fit.

"Parehas kayong disappointed." He chuckled when I glanced to someone. "I didn't even mention a name but you looked at him." He said smirking.

"I'm looking at my cousin Adrian." He just shrugged with my answer and offered his hand for a shake. We shook our hands for formality.

"Your second name is really famous with all Mafias. Lady Persephene? Who could have thought that everyone now will call you as Lady Devi since iyon pala ang pangalang ginagamit mo talaga. L na lang kulang, perfect na ang pangalan mo." Kung titingnan siguro kami ng iba, para lang kaming magkaibigang naguusap habang nagbibiruan ng suntukan.

"Well, I could show how perfect it would be if you want." He was panting when we give distance to each other. Within seconds, we're fully using our strength with our punches.

"Parehas kayo ng pinsan mo. Kagagandang babae, pero kung makasuntok akala mo lalaki. I'm really impressed. I can't imagine how much you two trained." Halos manlambot ang tuhod ko nang dumaan sa aking isipan ang ilang mga ala ala nang nageensayo kami noon.

I could remember all my trainings clearly. Not because of how difficult and bloody it was. But because how I enjoyed training under my parents.

Napayuko agad ako nang muntik nang tumama ang isang sipa sa akin. He looks surprised when he saw me spacing out. With that, I composed myself and started to give back his attacks.

Ramdam ko ang paghigpit niya ng hawak sa pareho kong kamay na siyang inaasahan kong gagawin niya. He would try to head butt or he would try to pull me and give me a kick. With those assumptions, he ate my bait.

Ang lakas na ibinigay niya sa aming kamay ang ginamit ko para tumalon. I cartwheeled with him. Pero imbes na isang ikot lang ay pinilit kong maging dalawa. I succeeded to throw his body. He was lying in the field facing me while I was standing in front of him. He suddenly smiled.

Nilahad niya ang kamay niya sa akin bilang senyales na hanggang dito lang muna ang ginawa naming sparring. Tinanggap ko naman ito at hinila para tulungan siyang makatayo pero biglang may bumunggo sa aking tagiliran kaya nabitawan ko si Adrian at muli siyang bumagsak.

"Tayo." Agad akong napalingon kay Sofi na tumabi sa akin. "Anong nangyayari?" I asked her.

"Ewan. He's spacing out, nasuntok ko nga eh. After niyang masuntok ko ay naglakad na siya papunta sa inyo." Sofi was hiding her smile with her story. Why not? She punched the future Lord of Harris.

"What is it now Damian?" Adrian asking as he stood up.

"We're switching partners." Napataas ang kilay ko at agad napalingon din sa akin silang tatlo. "The teachers approved." Ian added.

"Madaya. We're really having a good sparring di'ba Devi?" Tinanguan ko na lang si Adrian. He's saying the truth. He was really not holding his self back. Ramdam ko ang mabibigat na suntok at malakas na sipa na binibigay niya sa akin kanina.

"I could do better." Ian suddenly went in front of me and offered his hand. Hindi ko nakuha ang gusto niyang ipahiwatig pero nang nagsalita siya ay napangiti ako sa ideya niya.

"Now, let's fight."
