Chapter 3

"We are your Soldiers, Lady Devi."

Agad kong nilingon si Sofi na nakangiti sa aking tabi. She wasn't surprise with these students in front of us. It looks like that she's used to it.

"I told you Devi. Kilala ka ng mga tauhan natin." She winked.

Tinanguan ko na lang ang mga estudyante na nasa harapan ko bago ako nagsimulang maglakad. I even heard Sofi ordered them to shut their mouths and let me introduce myself later.

"Students are looking at us Devi." Sofi whispered. Diretso man ang tingin ko sa aking nilalakaran, kita ko sa peripheral view ko ang mga estudyanteng nakatingin sa amin. They're maybe curious on my identity.

"Good thing we're together. Sanay sila na nakikitang guwardiyado ako by these students." Tumango ako sa kanya. Tama siya. Nakatingin ang mga estudyante sa kadahilanang kasama ako ng isang Sofia Giovanni.

Sofi ordered for us when we arrived at the cafeteria. Ang mahabang linya na dapat pipilahan niya ay nawala nang siya ang dumating. Perks.

We're busy eating our foods while Sofi keeps talking about the places inside this university, when suddenly everyone seemed to be quiet looking at one direction.

"Elites." Sofi stated without looking at them. Hindi ko na din sila nilingon at pinagpatuloy ang paginom ng aking iced coffee pero natigil nang maramdaman ang mga taong nakatayo sa aming tabi.

"One of the Capos Sofi?" A guy asked which made us looked.

Sofi just shrugged and looked at me. Tinanguan ko siya kaya agad kaming tumayo na para umalis. Not until someone attempted to hold my arm which I easily stopped by holding his arm in mid air.

"Don't dare." I saw how this guy in front of me flinched. I even saw some students from my peripheral vision standing. Soldiers of mine and his maybe.

"Wow. Just wow." I heard Audrey murmured. She's with them.

Sofi grabbed me and started walking away. "Omg. Did you know who you talked with, Devi?" I shook my head as my answer which made her facepalm.

"That guy is the future Lord of Harris!"

"Oh." I simply murmured. I'm trying to remember his full name but all I remember is his second name. "Elliot."

"OMG no, no. Don't call him that. Use his first name. Damian." I raised an eyebrow at her. "Oo, he's maarte. But I heard he have a nickname that no one calls him anymore." I just shrugged.

We entered the building and searched for our room with everyone staring at us. Well I can see that Sofi is used to it. We sat beside each other and remained silent in our seats. Mukhang ang eksena kanina sa cafeteria ang dahilan ng pagtitig nila. And speaking of, the so called Elites members are now entering the classroom.

"Elites are all from this block." Sofi said while not looking at me. She's just staring at Audrey who is now in front of her.

"I think I saw her before Sofia. She's our ally right?" I heard her asking in a low voice. Hindi na rin nakasagot pa si Sofi dahil biglang dumating ang isang professor.

She roamed her eyes at us first until she spotted me. "Introduce your name hija." She ordered.

I stood up from my seat. "Devi."

Everyone including the professor is staring at me as if they're waiting for me to continue. "Do you want to put an L?" I know coldness can be trace on my question.

Walang umimik o sumagot sa tanong ko. Tahimik lang ang lahat hanggang sa biglang tumawa si Sofia.

"That was a hilarious fact Devi!" She commented laughing — alone.

Nawala lang ang tinginan sa kanyang pagtawa nang pumalakpak ang professor para kuhanin ang aming atensyon.

"Hmm. Devi, please choose. Peace or Rest in Peace?" She asked devilishly and out of nonsense. Hindi ko nakuha ang koneksyon pero halos tumawa ako sa aking isipan nang may naisip akong sagot.

"Rest in Pieces." I answered smirking.

She flinched with my answer but she just smiled. "Astounding. Welcome to Mafillia University then Ms. Devi."

The class went smoothly. After my introduction, she just gave a brief summary of her subject. Academic subject. Next professor just asked me for what name I want to be called. He didn't ask me with anything else. Everything seems normal except for one, those Elites are staring at me the whole class.

"Hindi lang ikaw ang nagmelt kanina. After staring at you, sa akin naman!" I looked at Sofi who's almost pouting. "Should I tell them who you are or should I lie na you're just a Capo of our mafia?"

Capo are the leaders of the Soldiers in mafia. Kung tutuusin, puwede ang suhestiyon niya. Tinanguan ko na lang siya at saka naupo sa isang mesa sa loob ng cafeteria. We have thirty minutes break before heading to our combat class.

Naging ayos naman ang aming kain at kaunting kuwentuhan dahil iilan lang din ang mga estudyante. Papunta na kami ngayon sa field at kasunod namin ni Sofi ang iilang soldiers at associates ng aming mafia.

"If they ask me, I'll tell them that you're a Capo. Tama?" Sofi asked me once again.

"Yes."

We're walking through the crowd searching for our block mates. Hindi lang kasi kami ang estudyante na tuturuan ngayon. Tatlong klase ang magkakasama ngayon sa field dahil sabay sabay na nagtuturo ang tatlong combat teacher.

"Oh there they are." Turo ni Sofi sa dulo kung nasaan nakalinya sa unahan ang mga Elites at kausap ang sa tingin kong guro namin. At kahit may kalayuan pa kami ay pansin ko ang dalawang lalaki na kausap din nila.

"Do you know them Sofi?" I asked in a low voice.

Nakuha naman niya kung sino ang tinutukoy ko pero hindi niya makilala kaya nagmadali na siyang lumapit sa kanila na sinundan ko naman.

Everyone noticed our presence since some students give way to us and when I say everyone, it includes the Elites. Surprisingly, they made an enough distance for me to see who is the combat teacher and those two guys talking with him.

"Oh no!" I heard Sofi exclaimed while I almost cussed because we both know where will this go.

"Giovannis!" The two guys shouted in unison. And for the freaking fact, there is an S!
