Kyoko's POV
"Come on Celeste it doesn't take you over an hour to get dressed, if you don't hurry it up im leaving you behind,"
I sighed walking down the hall toward the kitchen "my wife can be a pain in the ass sometimes" I mumble to myself" I turned on the kettle and waited for the water to boil i was going to make crepes for breakfast because celeste loves them but she decided to take so long so i'm making tea and biscuits instead. I'm taking her to disney for our anniversary we live in japan but since we're at our condo in america for anniversary anyways I figured it would be a nice surprise
Beep Beep Beep
That's the kettle I poured the water into the teacups we got as a wedding gift and proceeded to set the table "where is that women" I whisper to myself decided i've waited too long
"TAEKO" I yell highly annoyed
"Almost done" she yells back
I scoff making my way down the hall to our bedroom and quietly open the door and sneak up behind her and hug her from behind.
"You take forever" i say stuffing my face into her hair
"I know in all honesty I wasn't getting dressed this entire time" she mumbles
"Then what were you doing?"
She turns around and kisses my nose
"That would defeat the surprise would it not?" she says walking away
I sigh and follow her out the room we sit down at the table and begin to eat (now cold) breakfast
"Hey, were going somewhere today and we have to leave in about a half hour because we're meeting someone there" I inform her
"Alright Love" she replies
I finish my tea and I take my cup to the sink celeste follows suit soon after, we make a silent agreement to do the dishes later
"Alright i have my keys, wallet, sunscreen, water bottle and passes" I say stuffing my stuff into my backpack
"Babe where exactly are we going" Celeste asks
I turn to face her and kiss her
"That would defeat the purpose would it not?" Mocking her
"You salty b-KYOKO LOOK" she screams
"Jesus don't yell like that you scared me, now what is it?" i gasp
I turn around to see our cat grand bois standing on his hind legs swatting at some bird sitting on the window sill.
"Grand Bois get down!" I yell at our poor cat
I laugh as he gets down and scurries away
I take Celeste's hand and we leave the house locking the door behind us. Hand in hand we walked to the car. I opened the door for her then got in myself. I buckled up and shot a quick text to Makoto telling him we are on our way there. I turn on the radio and roll down the windows and begin to drive.
Celeste's POV
I know she's hiding something granted I am too but that's besides the point I try not to focus on it too much. I can't believe three years ago today I married this woman. It's been the best years of my life so that's why I wait to give her a gift. I was getting it ready this morning that explains why I was so slow. I focus on the road ahead of us letting the salty florida air fill my senses. Humming along to whatever was on the radio
"Hey kyoko?" I ask
"Yeah"
"When we get back there's something I need to show you"
