Marciano started to go down the stairs two at a time but he wasn’t worried about catching up with Camilla. She couldn’t have gone far. He grabbed his car keys as he headed out. Once outside though he stopped with anger radiating off him. Camilla stood a few blocks away with some mailman laughing. He couldn’t be older than Marciano maybe even a little younger. The mailman was looking at her the way a man looks at his woman.  Marciano stocked the last three blocks until he stood behind a laughing Camilla.

“Can we help you?” Camilla turned around and backed into the mailman. He touched her shoulders and steadied her.

“Whoa! Still jumpy eh Camilla?” She nodded then moved away from him.

“Marciano you scared me.”

“Who’s this?” She blinked at his tone.

“Oh this is Noah. He used to go to school with me.” His eyes narrowed at that man.

“Hello there.” Marciano didn’t even look at his outstretched hand.

“I’m Marciano, Camilla’s husband. I better not catch you looking at her that way again you disgusting pig.” He pulled Camilla toward him and dragged her away from where that guy stood. Marciano didn’t even bother to remember his name. He didn't care what that guy had to say nor did he even pay attention to the excuses he tried to come up with. Marciano was so lost in thought he didn’t even hear Camilla’s protest.

“...HEY!” He felt something hit his back and he stopped.

“What!?”

“Will you stop? He wasn’t doing anything; we were just talking.”

“He was undressing you with his eyes. I could tell you exactly what, that no good piece of crap, wants to do to you!”

“Marciano, nothing was going on and I didn’t think we would be announcing were married either.”

“He needs to know to stay away from you. Otherwise one day his flip your shirts so fast you wouldn’t know it.”

“He wouldn’t do that. He’s an old friend.”

“I know what I’m talking about so don’t be stupid.” He reached for the front door handle and turned it. He let out a frustrated grunt and turned the door knob again.

“Is the door locked?” Marciano nearly snapped at her crossed armed form.

“What do you think? I can’t open the door!”

“Quiet down.” She reached into her pocket but nothing came out of it. She bit her lip then moved next to him.

“May I?” He just turned his head away from her. But nearly came out of his skin when she reached into his pockets.

“What the hell are you doing?!”

“Checking for the house key. What else would I be doing?” He didn’t say anything but she pulled out his car keys.

“You grabbed these but not the house keys?”

“I never received a house key.”

“Well my Uncles asleep so were trapped outside.” She sat down on the step and looked out to the neighborhood.

“How would you know when he’s asleep?”

“He works the late shift so he sleeps before my Aunt comes home so they can have some time alone before he leaves to work. So were trapped outside, oh and the alarm systems on.The reason why is because my Uncles a heavy sleeper, he won’t wake up even if I threw a heavy metal party in his room.” He sat down next to her.
