Noya's POV:
It's finally the end of the day, the second I hear the bell ring, I quickly start running towards the gym for practice, hoping Hinata will be there.
"NISHINOYA, STOP RUNNING IN THE HALLS" Yells a teacher
"SORRY, I NEED TO GET SOMEWHERE" I yell as I continue running
When I finally get to the gym, I see Hinata
"HINATA"
he completely ignores me so I walk over to him
"Hinata?" I say, he goes to walk away but I grab his wrist
he turns around
"what do you want?"
"Hinata, can we please tal-" he cuts me off
"no, we can't talk" he says bitterly
"Hinata, please"
"you have no idea how much I like you, how long I've liked you" he says yet again in a bitter tone
"I-"
"It's a shame that you don't feel the same way, that you like Kiyoko instead of me" he says laughing, nothing like his normal happy, cheerful laugh, but, It's replaced with a bitter laugh filled with pain.
"I don't like he-" he cuts me off
"oh, but you do" he says in a pained voice
"Hin-" he cuts me off again
"I was stupid to think you could ever feel the same way" he yells at me, causing everyone to turn to look at us
"you don't like me, you like Kiyoko, you always have, why did I ever think I could've possibly had a chance?" he says sadly
"Hinata?" Sugawara says
"Hinata.." I say sadly
"I-"
"why would you ever kiss me?" he says letting out the most pained laugh yet
"because I like you" I say taking a step closer to him
"bullshit" he scoffs
"Hinata, why else would I kiss you?" I say looking him in the eyes, they're filled with hate, anger, rage, I've never seen him like this, it's honestly worrying
"I don't fucking know" he says letting out an annoyed sigh "playing with my feelings? you're sure good at that" he says letting out another pained laugh, but this one? It's different then the rest, it sounds more pained then the rest, as if this hurts more then everything else, as if he feels betrayed.
"how can I prove to you that I actually like you" I say with a sigh
"If you really like me, you'll find a way" he says glaring at me
"alright, I'll do whatever it takes" I say smiling at him
he turns around to go play volleyball, but I stop him
"Hinata, you can't practice, remember? your arm"
he sighs "yeah, whatever"
he walks over to the door and goes outside
"uh- what was all of that about" Tanaka says eying me
"you kissed Hinata?" Tsukishima says, snickering
"yeah, and that's funny how?" I say glaring at him
"well- he's... Hinata" Tsukishima says bursting out laughing
Yamaguchi elbows Tsukishima in the side "Tsukki, stop being a jerk"
I walk over to Tsukishima "and what's that supposed to mean?" I say looking up at him
"I don't get what you see in Hinata, he's loud and annoying" he says looking at me
"he isn't annoying, and so what if he's loud? at least he isn't quiet and boring like you" I say glaring at him
