"oi, we need to pick up akiko soon, so please hurry."

the cold hearted teen wasn't being disrespectful so to say, but the tone he addressed his elder in was slightly belligerent and sounded almost demanding to any passerby that just so happened to overhear. many of the adults around the pair shot the boy a fleeting glare but that only served to increase his scowl and deepen his furrowed brows. he really hated those judging dimwits that thought they held authority over him just because they lived 10+ years longer.

it was bullshit. the whole thing was bullshit. what type of wisdom could they have achieved in 10+ years that he hadn't? nothing of any relevance, that's he was sure of. the only relevant piece of knowledge for him, was that his precious coffee jelly was half-price at his local supermarket and they would soon sell out if his grandma didn't hurry up!

and during this thought, his grandma opened the same door he had and had hobbled back to the scowling teen. they then both got into the car and drove off to meet "akiko" and buy the 50% off coffee jelly.
