Even if you think that everything is decided and nothing can be done, you can still keep making dua...Our duas will be answered or changed in a different way.
Dua can change qadr, it can make the impossible, possible again... continue making dua.
If everything was destined already then Allah wouldn't have given us the power to make dua. With dua things can be re-written in life...
Miracle do happen every day. Don't lose hope, Trust Him and His timings for you..
But darling always remember, that if your duas aren't answered immediately then it's always worth the wait... have sabr don't give up don't lose hope. And if it ain't answered at all remind your self it is only been taken away from you, for it to be replaced by something better than what's taken away from you. He surely knows what's best for you love..
