I Miss You

I walked back inside after his shocking realization. I dug a drawing out of his bag. He paid nine yuans for this. Five for the drawing, two so Meelo wouldn't ask why I wanted a drawing of his sister another two so Meelo wouldn't tell everyone. I stared at the photo. Spirits I missed Jinora, she was smart, kind, talented, and beautiful. And I was gone, I left her. Even if it wasn't my choice I couldn't help but blame himself.

                                                                     *Time Skip/POV Swap*

I sat outside for some late-night meditating. But my mind kept straying to Kai and the kiss. Why did he have to do that? Now I couldn't help but imagine it happening again. Two years and four months until he returns, why did it have to be so long? Tears began to stream down my face. I wiped the stupid tears away. I decided to practice airbending. My hair was growing back into a semi-long buzz cut. Around twelve-thirty in the morning I decided to try spirit projecting to Kai. After a long time trying to find him, I finally located his presence and projected her image. "Jinora!" Kai exclaimed.

"Miss me much?" I asked

"Yes stupid!" He said then his voice dropped before saying, "You're my best friend."

"Yeah, I think we need to talk about that."

"Listen, Jinora, I really care about you."

"I care about you too Kai..."

"You don't get it, I love you!"

Jinora's eyes widened "You love me?"

"Yes"

"I love you too Kai."

I could practically here Kai smile, but I had to say, "I'm really sorry but I have to go. My dad can't know I'm up, epically that I'm spirit projecting without someone watching my body."

"Goodbye Jinora"

"Goodbye Kai"
