A/n: If you guys don't know what Hanahaki Disease is, the picture on top is the description. I didn't make that. This might've a lot of timeskips just saying.

(m. name) knew Hinata since he was born. (m. name) was also the one who got Hinata to help him practice volleyball. Every day, the male's love grew for the tangerine but the tangerine loved someone else which is Kageyama.
(m. name) thought of it was a bluff but when he saw the two announced that they're dating, his heart dropped but he still supported them. (m. name) didn't know that there were black roses growing in his lungs.

"(m. name), are you okay, your coughing has gotten horse..?"
Yamaguchi asked and the other male just smiled while looking at the cute first year couple. (m. name) responded "I'm okay, don't worry..." and Yachi, who knew the truth, just sighed. Yamaguchi nodded while going to Tsukishima and Yachi went beside the male. "When are you going to tell the truth?" Yachi asked and the male responded "When I'm dead, your going to tell it...".
The male walked away because practice is going to start again. Yachi looked at the male with sadness and did what she was doing as a manager. Tsukishima looked at (m. name) and clicked his tongue.

(m. name) coughed out five black petals and didn't notice Tsukishima entering. Tsukishima stood there with arms on his chest. Breaking the silence, Tsukishima said "I expected that you didn't keep secrets, (m. name) and saw the male flinched. (m. name) looked at Tsukishima with a widened expression and hid the petals away.
"W-what do you mean, K-kei?"
(m. name) stuttered out and Tsukishima stepped forward. Tsukishima responded "Auntie said that you have Hanahaki but I didn't think it was true" and (m. name) just looked down the floor. The tall male just clicked his tongue and walked to the door but was stopped by (m. name)'s hand to his shoulder.
(m. name) said "My dear cousin, please don't tell the team" and Tsukishima nodded. (m. name) let go of his cousin's shoulder and watched Tsukishima walk away.

Flowers keep on growing on (m. name)'s arms, making the male frustrated and rip them out so no one can see them.
(m. name) was getting tired and his life's deadline was getting close. He wanted to cherish his life before it ends by taking pictures and looking at them before he goes to school and sleep. Today was his last day, he knew it, he went to school and greeted people. That was the new him before he gets to be engulfed by the black roses and his clothes in the spot he vanished.
Daichi and Sugawara noticed the new (m. name) and just shrugged it off. Practice had ended and (m. name) was the first one to get out. Tsukishima just sighed and Yachi wanted to cry because her best friend is gonna die today.
(m. name) laid down on a bush and let the black roses take over and smiled at the moon. After a while, all you could see is black roses, clothes, and a bag filled with school materials. Yachi walked to it and grabbed the belongings of the male. She grabbed a few of the roses to make a flower crown and present it to the team.

The next day, Suga wondered where was the male and asked Tsukishima about it.
"He turned into a flower"
Tsukishima said while walking away, leaving a confused third year. Tsukishima was surprisingly felt empty that his cousin who whined or complained to the dino's remarks died. Yachi tried to smile but kept thinking of (m. name) smiling at her.
Practice came and Yachi wanted to make an announcement. Hinata was worried of his childhood friend, I mean who wouldn't, he was kind and helpful. Yachi sighed and started telling the team about (m. name)'s death. Yachi showed the black rose crown to the team and Hinata just didn't believe it.
Hinata and Yachi went to the bush that (m. name) disappeared as a rose and just had a widened expression. Hinata just hoped that the male was happy that he was in heaven.
