"Take off , last stop countdown till we blast open the top. Face first full charge , electric hammer to the heart." Luke sang and I closed my song book and looked up and smiled as he winked at me. "Clocks move faster , cause it's all we're after now ,oh." The whole bands sang and I clapped along. "Won't stop climbing cause this is our time, yeah. When all the days felt black and white. Those were the best shades of my life."

"Don't look down cause we're still rising up right now! And even if we hit the ground. We'll still fly keep dreaming like we'll live forever but live it like it's now or never. We ain't searching for tomorrow. Tomorrow. Cause we got all we need today. Today! Living on a feeling that's been running through our veins. We're the revolution that's been singing in the rain." They sang I stood up and started to clap with them

Tell your friends" Reggie said and I walked up to the stage looking up at them "Too bad we wasted the tightest we've played" Bobby said "wait until tonight, man , when this place gets packed with record execs. "Luke says. "Alex you were smoking. "I said as Luke helps me on stage. "Oh no. I was just warning up. These guys were the ones on fire"Alex said and I roll my eyes "Could you just own your awesomeness for once?" Reggie asked "Alright I was killing it"Alex chuckles and I smile. "Ok, well I'm thinking we fuel up before the show. I'm thinking street dogs"Luke said and Alex and Reggie ooh'd

"ew no"I said. We get off the stage I had the help of Luke. "Hey bobby where you going "Reggie asked "I'm good. Vegetarian. I could never hurt an animal. "Bobby said. He was trying to impress the girl. "You guys are really good"she said "thank you "Luke smiled and I roll my eyes of course his wants her! "I see a lot of bands. Been in a couple myself. I was really feeling it. "She said "that's what we do this for. I'm Luke by the way"he said "hi, I'm Reggie"he says "Alex"he said. "Bobby "he said and pushes Luke behind him. Then Alex nudge me and I sigh. "Kim"I give a small wave "nice meeting you guys"I'm rose."she says

"Oh uh here's our demo and a T-shirt size beautiful "Reggie flirts and I giggle and shake my head, Alex groans "um thanks. I'll make sure not to wipe the tables down with this one"she jokes "oh good call. Whenever they get wet they just kinda fall apart in your hands"I said "don't you guys have to go get hot dogs"Bobby said "yeah he had a hamburger for lunch "Luke said before they all walk away. But Luke stops turns around and walks back to me "I almost forgot "he said and takes my hand and we walk out "I don't want to eat those death dogs"I whine "just one. For me"he said and I groan "fine"I mutter.

"That's what I'm talking about! "Luke said "the smell of sunset boulevard?"Alex asked and I chuckle along with Reggie. "No. Its what that girl said in there tonight. About our music, all right? Its like an energy. It connects us with people. They can feel us when we play. I want that connection with everybody. "Luke said with so much passion now I remember why I love him

"Then we're gonna need more T-shirts"Reggie said and we laugh. "Lets go boys and lady"he said and I smile. Reggie gives some girls the T-shirts and they yell his name while we walk across the street.

"Man... I can't wait until we eat someplace where the condiments aren't served out of the back of an Oldsmobile. "Alex said as he puts a pickle on his hot dog. I shake my head and Reggie put mustard on my hot dog "thanks" I say and he nods. "Hey...sorry I got some pickle juice on your battery cables "Alex apologies "no problem. It'll help with the rust."the man laughs and I gag.

We sat on the coach and I sat on Alex's lap with my legs in Luke's. "This is awesome you guys. We're playing the Orpheum! I can't even count how many bands have played here and then ended up being huge. We're gonna be legends! Eat up boys...and lady. Cause after tonight, everything changes. "Luke said and I close my eyes and take a bite. God that's nasty! "That's a new flavor"Alex said "what type a flavor is it suppose to be when it comes out of a car"I asked trying not to throw up. "Chill guys. Street dogs haven't killed us yet."Reggie says and we continue to eat.
