Chapter 7 Explaining

(Liv's POV)

I got up the next morning, earlier than normal, I was feeling a little odd, like butterflies in my belly

I would suppose, it was just the nerves

It was my first day of school, after all

I couldn't be late

My aunt was still asleep, when I hopped into the shower

I took my time, prepping myself up

I was so exited!

When I was done with my shower, I walked over to my closet and grabbed a red lace dress and matched it with black heels

I let my brown hair fall over my shoulders. With the help of black eyeliner, my blue green eyes popped more. When I was satisfied with my look, I grabbed my books and headed out the door

I was about to close the door, when I heard the phone ring

I turned around and headed towards the kitchen, when the house phone was

"Hello?" I asked

"Hello, I'm calling from Lehigh Hospital, I'm looking for....Olivia Dove?" I heard someone ask

"Yes, what can I do for you?" I asked

"Hello Miss Dove. I wanted to inform you that we have the results of your test" she told me

"Oh, I was told it would be around a week before I got them" I said

She stayed silent for a moment, but then continued

"Normally, we wouldn't mind if you waited to come grab them, but in this case, I think it's in your best interest to come and pick them up right now" she told me

"Right now? I'm on my way to school right now, but can I come out this afternoon?" I asked her

"I'm sorry, to pressure you. I just really think you should come and grab them now. We have some explaining to do" she told me

Then I was really nervous

"Explaining... Explaining what?" I asked her

"Can I expect you in half an hour?" She asked me, avoiding my question

I didn't want to miss my first day, but something in me, told me that whatever was going on, wasn't normal

Something was wrong

Something was very wrong

"Alright, I'll be there soon" I said and hung up the phone

(James' POV)

I was on my way to work, when I had gotten a phone call

Megan was seated at my side

When I hung up, her phone started ringing

"Did you get the same phone call?" She has me smiling

"From the hospital?" I asked

She nodded her was

"Why is the hospital calling? I asked her, stopping at a red light

All she did was smile

"What did you do?" I asked her

"If it is what I'm thinking.... I'm pregnant" Megan smiled

All of a sudden, my world came crashing down
