Chapter 6 Are You Sure?

(Liv's POV)

"Hello, I have an appointment" I smiled, looking at an older lady, with light blonde hair

She didn't say anything, or even look up from her computer

Instead, she handed my a clipboard

"Fill it out" she grunted, handing me a clipboard and a pen

"O-kay" I said, taking in and sitting down in one of the chairs near by

If there was one thing I hated about hospitals, it was the smell

Something about it, made my skin crawl

I took a deep breath and sighed

I silently filled out my paperwork, skipping the questions that I didn't know

I heard someone walk in and tell the secretary the same thing I did

The secretary said the same thing as me and handed her a clipboard, without looking at her 

She sighed and walked over to the seat next to me

I slightly looked up and realized that it was actually James' wife

I let my hair fall over my face, blocking my view from her

I quickly finished my paper work and then walked over to the front desk

I handed her my pen and clipboard

She thanked me and set it on top of a stack of other clipboards

I walked to another seat keeping my distance from Megan

The saw the door open and out came a Doctor

She looked tired, almost nervous

Her blonde hair was up in a messy ponytail and she had bags under her eyes

"Where is it?" She asked the secretary

The older woman nodded towards the now smaller stack of papers

Her shaking hands made their way to the stack only to have them scatter across the polished floor

I got up and helped her pick them up

"Thank you" she sighed

"No problem" I smiled, handing them to her

"Are you Olivia Dove?" She asked me

I nodded

"Please follow me" she smiled

I did as she asked

She showed me to a white room, with a gown in the chair

"Put this on and I'll be right back" she smiled, looking down at what I thought were my papers

I nodded and thanked her as she walked out of my room

I quickly took off my clothing and put the gown on

I sat down in the chair and put my legs up

"Alright, are you ready?" The doctor asked, when she came back in the room

"Yeah" I said unsure

"Are you sure you want to do this" she asked me

I had no idea why she was being so curious over something s simple as a check up

But then again, she was the one with the degree, so what did I know?

"Yes" I smiled

Alright

She grabbed something from the tray and slipped it up my vagina

I slightly jumped, feeling rather odd

She pulled it out and smiled

"Okay, you're done" She smiled, displaying small wrinkles that formed around her eyes and mouth 

"That's it" I asked

"That's it" she confirmed

I smiled and sat up

"Alright, we should have your results in a week" she said, taking off her gloves and grabbing her stack of papers

I nodded and smiled

She walked out of the room and left me alone

Something felt of to me, but what did I know?

(Megan's POV)

The doctor walked into my room

I had already put on my gown and was sitting on a chair

"Alright, let's see" the doctor said, putting her stethoscopes over my heart

"What are you doing?" I asked

"You're here for a check up, right?" The doctor asked me

"No, I'm here for insemination" I told her

Her eyes got really wide, almost like she'd realize she done something wrong

"My God" she was whispered underneath her breath
