Chapter 8 Congratulations

(Liv's POV)

I got to the hospital in about 10 minutes

I left without saying anything, because I didn't want to worry anyone

I walked in and all the nurses went silent

I felt so uncomfortable, but kept my head up

"Hello, I'm Olivia Dove. I got a phone call about 20 minutes ago" I told her

"Of course, please come this way" the nurse said

I turned around and bumped into someone

I nearly fell, but someone wrapped their arms around me

"Liv?" I heard a man ask

I looked up and realized that it was James

"Jamie" I smiled at him

He looked down at my eyes and smiled at me

The wheels seemed to turn in his head as he put 2 and 2 together

"What are you doing here? Are you alright?" He asked me

"I'm not sure, I was called. They told me it was an emergency" I told him, remembering that seconds before I was worried out of my mind

Nearly to the point, to where I felt I was going to be sick

"Well, I hope everything is alright" he told me

I smile widely

"Me too" I smiled

Liv still had his arms wrapped around me

"And you, are you alright?" I asked

Jamie seemed to stiffen all around 

"Yes, I'm pregnant" his wife said, appearing behind James

Jamie's arms seemed to tighten around me

He didn't want this pregnancy, I could tell

I didn't want to make him feel bad, but a baby was a blessing from God

Many woman who deserved children, couldn't have them

I looked up into Jamie's hazel eyes and smiled at him

"Congratulations" I said, not knowing what else to say to him 

He nodded his head and tried to smile at me

"Miss Dove!" I heard my doctor call out

She stopped when she saw me standing with Jamie and his wife

"Doctor Marshal" Megan called out

The doctor wouldn't look at either of us

"Please" the doctor said to me

I nodded my head and pulled away from Jamie

We walked into a different room and sat me down

She close the door behind her and sat in front of me

Whatever was about to come, I knew that it wasn't good
