Harry

Valentine's day was somehow new to me. I mean, I did have a date last year but this year felt different. Less nervous, more excited.

I checked my hair, my glasses, the grey hooded sweatshirt I wore with a black jacket on top. I really hoped I looked well for her. When I came down, it was ten and the common room was empty. After a bit, a Ginny dressed jeans, a maroon winter coat that came to her hips and loose baggy red winter hat on top.

"Well?" She walked down the last step with straight arms and then turned on a foot to show me around. I chuckled, "Dont I look brilliant?" She wiggled her brows. I took her hand and kissed her cheek, "And wow. You actually tried to brush your hair." She looked at my head.

"Funny."

"So very much."

"Lets go?"

"Wait, what about Ron and 'Mione?"

"Ron's with Lavender." I squeezed her fingers.

"Then.. Hermione?" She looked apologetic.

"I asked her. She's adament with the library."

"I dont like that." She clicked her tongue.

"Thats why I asked her to meet us at the Three Broomsticks around three."

"You're brilliant." She grinned and we headed out. I loved that she still cared for everyone so much.

As we walked out into the snowy roads to the Hogsmeade, we saw how many students walked hand in hand, couples enjoying their times. That was odd for me and when I looked at Ginny, she had the same expression on her face. She seemed to be feeling awkward.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Mmmm." She hummed.

"What?" I chuckled.

"I feel nice." She grinned up. We were walking with her arm chained in mine and avoiding any slips, "Anyway, have you been practicing your wandless spells?"

"Yeah. Hermione taught me the confundus too." I nodded.

"Thats... i knew it! She used the confundus charm on McLaggen's broom during tryouts, didnt she?" Ginny pointed with realization.

"I dont know what you're talking about." I shrugged.

"Oh, dont be such a captain." She taunted and I chuckled.

"That prat, Ron." She murmured.

"Lavender isn't that bad." I shook my head.

"Dean wasn't either." Ginny blinked at me and my smile faded.

"Romilda wasnt either." I answered and her smile faded.

"Neither was Krum." She squinted at me.

"Where're we going with this conversation?" I chuckled after a bit. She paused and released a breath.

"Honestly, what were we talking about?" She looked up.

"I.. umm..." Even I was lost.

"Harry?" She called as i gulped, looking away from Dean who was glaring at us.

"Hmm?"

"You have a love bite on your neck." She whispered and my head snapped in her direction. Her cheeks turned red.
