Let me explain more on that title.
I basically hate how popular books (maybe for specific genres) being shitty and trashy.
There are authors out there who REALLY do put in effort into their books and have excellent technique and plots, but their stories are underrated! Meanwhile, other books which, quite honestly are REALLY terrible, are the ones getting a lot of reads and more praise; to put it simply— they're overrated.
This annoys the hell out of me. 1. I have been lied to (Hey, when you see a book with tons of reads and votes and comments, you think it's great, right? Well...then you change your mind as soon as you read it), and 2. Why are terrible books getting more attention than books with great plotting and writing?
