He looked at her wrists to see nothing there,
There were no scars, her wrists were bare.
So he looked away,
Decided to just ask the next day.

But the next day came,
And she wasn't at school.
The scars were on her hips,
And he called himself a fool.

Because sometimes the next day,
Is one day too late.

One day too late,
She couldn't hold on.
She could've been saved,
But he waited too long.

One day too late,
Why did he have to wait?
If only he had known,
Now she's broken all her bones.

It was simply too much,
She had no one to trust.

She couldn't do it by herself,
She just needed some help.
But nobody saw,
And now she's gone.

A love was lost,
A good friend gone.
Too bad nobody
Helped her hold on.
