Argus drove us to the airport as no one had it in them to fight him on that this early in the morning.

The ride was pretty much quiet, although I couldn't blame it on the situation. Six demigods all cramped in the back of a moving truck wasn't the best situation for taking.

And yes, six. There was a seat up front which Leo had claimed and wouldn't shut up about until Argus threatened to pull over and shove him out, saying that he could walk the rest.

When we arrived we moved wordlessly through the airport and eventually we made it onto our plane, which had me feeling queasy.

Zeus wouldn't shoot down a plane wit his own son in it, would he? I wondered as I peered over at Jason, who was holding hands with Piper. Right?

Although I was completely sure that was a thing Zeus would do, I just shook it out of my mind and stared at my shoes.

I was sitting next to Leo and Calypso, who could not get enough of themselves. Even if I weren't alone and fearing for my girlfriend's safety, I still would've been disgusted.

"I hope you don't mind that I let Calypso have the window seat," Leo said to me as I tried my best to ignore him. "It's just, she's never been on a plane before."

I nodded and stayed silent, which apparently gave Leo signs that he should keep talking.

"I mean, she's ridden Festus before, but he's not the same. Speaking of him, I can't believe he got through airport security!" he rambled on.

I tuned Leo out and eventually he grew tired of me and started chatting to Calypso, who seemed to tolerate it better. She probably had more experience doing so.

After a few hours in the sky, most of the demigods had fallen asleep. Expect for me. There was no way I could sleep on this plane, or any plane for that matter.

Leo woke up first and instantly started talking again. "Excuse me, Percy, I've gotta go to the bathroom..."

He slipped past me and headed to the back of the plane. After he'd left Calypso slowly opened her eyes and peered around.

"Where's Leo?" she asked softly, her voice hoarse with sleep.

"Oh, he just left to use the bathroom," I assured her. "I'm sure he'll be back soon."

Calypso nodded as she pushed herself up and readjusted her hair. "Was everyone asleep? I feel like it's been a while..."

"Uh, yeah, I think everyone's asleep," I responded. "It's been about four hours. I've been tracking the time. It's not like I can sleep, anyways."

"You hate planes? I suppose being a child of Poseidon that makes sense, I just never thought about it," she said with a nod.

A couple of actually conscious passengers from a row near us stared at us confusedly before going back to what they were doing.

I laughed lightly before whispering my response. "I would keep it down about the whole my father is a Greek diety. Although you haven't been around mortals recently."

Calypso smiled. "Not much, no. I keep forgetting. Leo's great, though. He speaks enough for both of us, so I haven't had much practice."

"Gotcha," I responded before peering back down at my feet and trying not to worry about the plane, which had started to go shake slightly. Or maybe I was imaging it...

"Hey, look, Percy, I'm really sorry," Calypso blurted out. I turned to look at her.

"For what?" I asked, although I already had a guess.

She sighed as she tucked a piece of caramel colored her hair behind her ear. "The curse. I know you, uh, received it. I didn't think it would ever do anything...and if I did I never would've said it. That was just me venting, empty words. And it wasn't your fault, and now I'm just really sorry."

Before I could respond Leo made his way back down the aisle and shoved his way past me and sat back down next to Calypso and instantly started talking with her again.

She peered at me with her almond shaped eyes as Leo continued talking, not even noticing her gazing towards me.

I slowly nodded at her as if to say it was alright, because if we were going to find Annabeth, I needed all the help I could get, even if it meant I had to forgive Calypso.
