FATE WAS A FICKLE BITCH, Bianca Vasques knew that better than the back of her hand. She had never been the kind of person who knew exactly what she wanted, not until she's shown the right way to take — and so, tragedy struck when she was only a teenager, convincing her to help people the best she can. She winds up finding happiness as a guidance counselor, surrounded by family and friends, albeit undoubtedly unlucky in relationships. Nevertheless, she's determined to forge her own destiny, realistic in the sense that she doesn't expect a giddy school crush any longer.
And just when she thinks fate can't get the jump on her again, she meets the struggling, tumultuous father of one of the students.
