Harry's POV:
I looked at them with a death stare, my ears went hot, and I tried to speak up,
"I-" obviously backfired anyway.
I broke up with Ginny a month ago, you'd think she would've gotten over it already.
"Do you have an explanation, or may I just start screaming now?" Ginny said blushingly. "It's really not what it looks like-"
"I think it is!" Ron roared.
"We came back because we heard you guys were hurt!" Ginny cried.
"Oh-" Hermione started.
"When did you start liking my girlfriend Potter?" Ron asked.
"When did you start calling me Potter?" I asked.
"When you snogged my girlfriend!" He yelled.
"I'm not your girlfriend, we're over!" Hermione screeched.
"We'll then," Ginny tugged at her shirt, "we'll be going."
"Why don't you?" I called.
"We are!" Ginny yelled at me and stormed out.
"Thought you were my best mate." Ron scowled.
"Ron, wait-" but he was already out the door.
"I'm so sorry Harry." Hermione said weakly behind me.
"It's not your fault." I said, trying to hold in my fury at Ron.
"It is." She said more weakly.
"Are you alright?" I asked, turning to face her.
She was sitting up, but her eyes were half-closed and she fell back onto the pillow.
"I'm f-" but she was blacked out.
"No, no." I tried to find her pulse, still there.
"Thank Merlin!" I cried.
I leaned down to her level, kissed her cheeks, and finally, her lips.
"I love you, Hermione Granger." I put my forehead against hers, she was incredibly hot.
I got up and almost left, as she was probably going to need rest before she wakes up. I
finally got up but someone tugged me back.
"What the-?" I turned to see it was Luna?
"Harry, you need to stay with her!"
"Why?"
"You're her true love!" She whispered.
"What does that have to do with anything?" I asked, livid.
"Well, you need to support her of course!" Luna said slowly.
"Right." I sat next to Hermione and held her hand, was I really her true love?
Luna got up, waved, and disappeared.
I felt her stir, and she slowly got up.
"Hermione, what the bloody hell was that?" I asked very startled.
"I dunno, Harry." She said and smiled at me.
"I love you too, Harry Potter." She smirked and put her hands around my neck, and kissed me wholeheartedly.
"How long?" I asked, she didn't need to ask what I meant.
"Since last year." She said turning a light shade of pink.
"What about you ditch the hospital wing, and we go down to the kitchens?" I asked dangerously.
"Yes!" She got up and put her shoes on.
"Let's get out of here!" She laughed and grabbed my arm.

We made it down to the kitchens, I tickled the pear and we walked in.
"Hello!" Hermione said to the House Elves.
"Hello Miss Granger!" They all greeted back.
I gave her a look of questioning.
"I may have come down here some nights in our sixth year and took care of them." She laughed. "Yeah, may have." I chuckled.
She was beautiful, I definitely don't deserve her.

Hermione's POV:
I can't believe Ron and Ginny did that to Harry and I! Invading our privacy, then yelling at us!
I forgot all about them, when Harry and I sat down on stools we found in the corner of the kitchen. "So, are we together?" He asked.
"If you want to be!" I said with hopefulness.
"Course I do." He grinned and kissed my cheek.
"You are the charmer, aren't you, Potter?" I laughed.
"Certainly," he smirked. Winky came and smiled at us.
"Anything Winky can do for you, Miss Granger and Harry Potter?"
"Can we get some food-" I kicked him in the shins, "Please?"
"Anything for Harry Potter and Miss Granger." Winky gave a lopsided smile and blinked her tennis ball-sized eyes and walked away, huge ears flapping.
"I really do love magic." I blurted.
"I know right!" Harry said, looking around the kitchen.
"So, you ever thinking of actually learning to fly a broom?" Harry asked.
"No, no, never." I said timidly.
"Well, you are, meet me at the quidditch pitch tomorrow, Love." Harry stroked her face and winked at her. "Sure."
"I knew you'd give in." Harry grinned and the food came.

I was eating Chicken, beans, and some pie, Harry was sharing the Shepard's Pie with me, and having Chicken.
"This food is really good." I said in awe, looking at the platter they made for us.
"See Hermione, they love being ordered!" Harry said, looking at all of the elves bustling around. I went to sit on Harry's lap.
"Got that." And smeared some of the cake they gave us on his nose.
"Oh, you'll pay for that one." He got up and put cake on his hands, grabbed me by the waist, cupped my face in his cakey hands, and kissed me.
In the end, we asked the elves for washing clothes and cleaned each other up.
"Oh, one last piece of cake on your lip." He pointed out, I was about to wipe it when...
"Let me." He kissed me, and I smiled into it.
"Got it." He said when he pulled away.
"Thanks." I laughed and grabbed his arm.
"Let's go back, shall we?" He proposed.
"We shall." he let go of my arm and skipped ahead of him.
"Bet I'll beat you back to the common room!" I teased.
"Bet you won't!" He laughed and ran as fast he could. I ended up beating him.
"Told you," I grinned.
"Yeah, you cheated," Harry said.
"Did not!" I mocked.
"Did so!"Harry mocked back and pressed me against the wall.
"You really are a catch." He said and kissed my cheek.
"Night Love." He said.
"Night Harry." I kissed his lips gently and pulled away to walk up stairs.

I wanted him to stay, I wanted to just kiss him, make sure he knows I love him, he was just more than Ron ever was to me, but why didn't I realize that? I don't know, I really wanted to be with him, I felt a sudden pang of emptiness in my chest,
Ron and Ginny both hate me, was it worth losing my friends?
It was, and I sat down on the common room couch, pulling out the book, Hogwarts: A History, and started to read,
I love him. A lot.
