Canceling

We sat all cuddled up on Alfred's couch watching a movie soon I yawn

Alfred: are you tired?
Hayley: nope just hungry
Alfred: how about I make dinner reservations at Barney's for 7

I smile

Hayley: you seriously would?
Alfred: anything for my future wife
Hayley: awe

I give him a kiss on the cheek

Alfred: sooo?
Hayley: let's do it

I got up excited

Alfred: I'll call them
Hayley: I'll go wash my face

I ran upstairs to the bathroom and washed my face should I do light makeup? Or who am I kidding it's our first dinner reservations in a long time I called Jessica she answered on the first ring 

Jessica: hey what's up?
Hayley: me and al are going for dinner
Jessica: seriously that's great
Hayley: yeah but I look like a comfortable vegetable I need a dress
Jessica: I got you be there in 15
Hayley: ok thank you so much

I ended the call soon I walked out the bathroom head back downstairs

Alfred: yeah I'll be there in a minute

I arrived back to the couch he stare at me

Hayley: something's wrong?
Alfred: change of plans I um have a super important call from work
Hayley: oh ok

He place his jacket on

Alfred: we'll reschedule ok?
Hayley: ok

He kissed my forehead  soon left great ughhhhh after 10 minutes the doorbell rang I went to get it

Kate: ARE YOU READY FOR A MAKEOVERRRRRRRR
Jessica: kate shhhhh I'm sorry I brought her
Hayley: hey guys

I fake laugh

Jessica: what's wrong?
Hayley: nothing
Kate: something definitely is up
Hayley: al canceled
Kate: not to be mean or anything that was highly expected
Jessica: Kate!!
Kate: what you know I'm being honest would you rather me lie or be honest hay

I chuckled

Hayley: I would rather your honesty Kate
Kate: see she appreciates my honesty

Jessica rolled her eyes

Jessica: whatever kate
Kate: you know what we're going for dinner at Barney's
Hayley: what?
Kate: you heard me let's go get ready

She pulled us both out the house I Locked the door and left with them

I rest all the shopping bags on the counter

Mom: what's all this?
Hayley: al told me to go shopping to make up for ditching me for lunch today so I decided to buy stuff and give them away because I don't need anything
Mom: oh that's great I was just leaving to head back to the store you want me to stop at the Abby's home and carry them?
Hayley: yes please

She nod soon took all the shopping bags and left I sigh soon in came my brother and Timothee as soon as I saw him Alfred's words played in my head

Alfred: "I don't want you hanging out with that Timothee guy"

Asher: hey hay
Hayley: hey ash what's up?
Asher: did mom leave yet?
Hayley: you just missed her
Asher: awe men
Timothee: hi Hayley
Hayley: hi Timothee
Asher: me and Timothee were gonna head on the rink soon you wanna join us?

You know what I'm going I can hangout with anybody I want to and so I left with them and we all had a good time and plus I got more skating lessons

Alfred: we can't go tonight
Hayley: why not???
Alfred: I have to work the night shift somebody messed something up
Hayley: ok fine
Alfred: are you mad ?
Hayley: no I'm not
Alfred: you want money to buy a new pair of shoes?
Hayley: I already told you money will never buy my happiness
Alfred: I get it but I don't want you to be mad with me
Hayley: al I'm not mad its fine
Alfred: if you say so
Hayley: you'll have to make it up to me
Alfred: I promise 
Hayley: ah ah ah don't make promises

He put his head down in laughter

Alfred: I'll get us dinner reservations at Barney's whenever
Hayley: okay

He give me a quick peck soon left

Kate: he's been canceling plans all week I'm getting irritated
Jessica: he's a really busy man Kate
Kate: busy alright too busy to take his fiance for dinner atleast once and why is he always working night shifts
Jessica: he owns the business
Kate: that's why he has employees ugh I'm sorry for being so angry

She pace around the room

Kate: it's a car dealership what do they have to do at night? Invent a robotic car or something too late we already have that

Kate does have a point he closes at 6pm what does he need to do at night?

Kate: ugh

In came Alfred

Alfred: hey ladies

Kate glare at him

Jessica: hi al

He give me a kiss on the cheek she was about to pass him

Kate: I'm on to you
Jessica: kate

Kate left

Alfred: what's up with her?

Jessica stood up

Jessica: I'm so sorry about kate you two enjoy your evening I'll call you later hay
Hayley: kk

Jessica left

Alfred: we have to cancel tonight

Oh boy

Hayley: this is the fifth time you cancel on me
Alfred: I'm sorry its just work
Hayley: I get it.......it's fine no need to apologize
Alfred: can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you
Hayley: me too

We hug soon I look up at him

Hayley: I love you
Alfred: I love you too
