Days moving on and thrive
What is called success of life?
Putting up a fight.
Flashing before us, as if on cruise
What measurements do we use?
Measurement in feelings
Grief, lost and dealing
What is called happiness of life?
Trying to fight.
Hearts broken and bruised
What measurements do we use?
Measurements in perfection
Perfect body, face, selection
What is called excellence of life?
Failing from the fight.
Surrender, hurt and abused
What measurements do we use?

A/N: I wrote this poem with a theme in mind and it's, you've guessed it, Measurement.
Inspiration:
I've always been the one to compare myself with others,to measure my success, happiness,etc;and it got me thinking. When do we clarify something that its happy? Successful? Excellent? What units or measurement should we use?
