Type had heard the "it doesn't end with high school graduation" speech... several times. But he never thought much of it until he got his acceptance letter back from the University. His parents were thrilled, and why wouldn't they be? He had exceptional grades in high school, an excellent transcript, and he had achieved a scholarship for football that would cut down tuition costs. But the main drawback was that he couldn't live in the apartment which he had wished for. Nope. His father had made a deal with him. It's either he chooses to study and stay at the dorm on campus or to stay back at home and help to run the family business which is to manage the resorts his father owns.

"Type, are you listening?" his mom's distraught voice interrupted his thoughts once again.

"Yeah mom," he rolled his eyes. He turned up the volume on the player a bit to hear his mother better.

"Now, as I was saying, don't forget to call. And stay safe. Don't exhaust or strain yourself. Do take enough rest and sleep well..." his mother said in a concerned voice over the phone.

"Yes, mom. I know. Your good little man will take care of himself. You don't have to worry so much..." Type said in a soft voice which he used to talk to his parents.

"And Type, I want you to know that no matter what happens, you can always count on the fact that we are just a phone call away. Okay? Never worry about not having anyone to talk to, because we will always be right here." his father suddenly spoke.

"Thanks, dad, mom..." Type lips curved into a genuine smile.

"Now, keep in touch, won't you? I want at least one call every week!" his mom's voice was filled with sorrow and pride at the same time, drawing an eye roll from Type once more.

"Yes, mother." Type answered curtly as he drove past a bustling building and into the nearby parking lot. A lot of people were carrying boxes and bags. He parked the car and turned off the ignition.

"I'm gonna hang up now. I just reached the dorms and have to check in. Bye for now," he said as he reached for his backpack in the passenger seat. After his parents bid their goodbyes over the phone, Type hung up and got out of the car. He walked around and opened the trunk of the car. He carried a single box of his stuff before closing it. He couldn't carry all the stuff at once, so he would need to come back for the rest after finding his dorm room. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.

"Ai'No! You asshole, where are you?" He said once the line went through. A guilty laugh was heard.

"Ai'Type, sorry na... I can't come right now. I sprained my hand. So I can't help you move into your dorm. Forgive me na..." Type rolled his eyes at his friend Techno's excuse.

"Oh really, which hand?" He asked with a sarcastic smile.

"My right hand... you know how difficult it is to work with one hand?" Type still didn't believe him.

He thought of an idea, "Ai'No... you got to see this. This girl is so freaking hot. I'll turn on the video call..." Type switched the call to video mode when he heard his friend rushing him to do it fast. When the video call was connected, Type was able to see No in his room, holding the phone in his right hand while his friend stuffed his mouth with chips with the other.

"Ai'asshole! You dare lie to me?" No realized that Type had caught his lie. He once again gave a guilty smile.

"Sorry Type. You know I'm too lazy. And classes start tomorrow. If I work now, I'll be exhausted tomorrow for class." No whined. Type rolled his eyes at his friend's excuse.

"Let's see if you live until then," Type threatened.

"Ohhh... Type. You're my best friend na, you won't kill me." No tried to convince his friend.
