If I could go back

If the day came,

If I could go back,

I would.

I would go back for one night.

Imagine,

One night,

One chance to make everything right.

It would give us a different outcome,

It would change everything,

But I would give you that.

If I could tell you,

If I could explain,

I would.

I would show you,

What it is I feel.

I would explain,

Everything.

The way you look at me,

When you say my name,

The way you care.

I would explain

How you make me feel,

The butterflies roaming my stomach,

Everything.

If the day came,

If I could go back

And explain.

I would wrap my arms around you

And explain.

Though now,

I don't have the chance.

If I could go back,

I would.
