My heart leads me in the direction

Of a marked territory,

A territory I had a chance to take,

I messed up,

You forgave me.

We had this connection,

A connection that brought us closer.

Then everything changed,

You found someone else.

That’s okay,

I don’t deserve you,

You are too good for me.

I can see now,

How you weren’t lying,

But instead trying to show me what was best.

I was in denial,

I’m sorry.

This poem, says a lot without giving everything away. I really don't know why I was so blind. Now I am giving up for now at least. I hope you like it. I have one more to upload, :)
