Danny Potter was an unusual girl, and you could tell so at a single glance. Her parents knew she was different in comparison to her twin brother Harry especially since she was a metamorphmagus, but they loved her nevertheless. However things changed drastically on the night of Halloween when the twins were one years old and their parents were killed in front of them. The only reminder of the incident being scars carved across the twins bodies.
While Harry had a single scar in the shape of a lightning bolt across his forehead, Daenerys had a strange shape drawn across her collarbone and an odd symbol on the inside of her wrist.

After the night of the attack, Daenerys disappeared and was later proclaimed dead, however what really happened was that one of the house elves that was loyal to the Potter family sensed the threat and grabbed Daenerys to take to one of the hidden manors that belonged to the Peverell branch.
