In March of 2014 Gina Bensinger from Pottsville, PA came across a quilt kit. She was going to see 30 Seconds to Mars in Camden, NJ on August 15th and thought it would make a great gift for the band. At first she was going to keep the gift to herself but she took a chance and shared it with the world via the Echelon Brothers and Sisters page on Facebook. The response was overwhelming, she literally had over 100 pm's on Facebook in 30 minutes.Within the week she was bombarded with request so much so that she had to create a waiting list. To accommodate the demand she decided to add a second quilt kit and again was bombarded with requests for a block. She actually had to cut it off at the 63, in the end both quilt kits were filled up within 4 days of her posting. There was even a block from Lily at the Echelon House, and in fact are working on another quilt now for her charity. She still has people who ask her to make another because they didn't get a spot the first time around. If she knew a way to safely get it to the band, she'd do another one in a heart beat.
