My love life has been pretty simple for the most part; nothing too crazy. I have a wonderful boyfriend that treats me better than I could imagine, and we have had an amazing journey together all through out highschool. It was me and him, and I thought nothing could change that. Well, I couldn't be more wrong. I guess I should've known that hardships come to everyone, but you must be prepared to face them. These things comes, but you got to decide whether you let it make or break you. I learned that from Ethan Holland, the guy that changed my life. I wasn't gonna let myself give up on him so easily.

It was days, well, two days to be exact, before the last day of our junior year. I finally made it. Adult hood was visible from where I was standing. Senior year was just around the corner. The adrenaline I get from the thought of growing up excites me. Me along with all my friends were excited to move on to our senior year, and we've always been fond of celebrating, so what better way to celebrate the end of our junior year than to spend a weekend at one of the best cities in Texas, San Antonio. Damn. We're growing up. "Hey, you got all your stuff in the car, Arabella?" I said shoving my backpack into the trunk of my car, well, my mom's Ford Explorer. My hair was thrown into a messy bun, a couple of my curly strands fell in front of my low, tired eyes. My baggy shirt flowing in the wind. I stretched my arms in the air as I let out a long yawn. We all slept at my house the night before. My drive way was full with two cars and a whole bunch of teens, all yawning and barely awake. "Yeah, I think so." She said walking up to me, her bed hair sitting on her shoulders, dried up drool sitting on her cheek. Her brown eyes looking up at me, red from rubbing them. Her baggy over-sized shirt covering her shorts. "It's too early in the morning. We were all tired. We literally just woke up 30 minutes before, so we were all kinda dead. Remind me why we need to leave so early." Kayla said. Her raspy morning voice sounding scratchy as she rubbed her eyes. Her curly hair was in a fluffy ponytail on the top of her head. Her crop top being blown up by the cool wind, slightly revealing the seam of her sports bra. She pushed her shirt down as she crossed her arms. Aidan came up behind her grabbing her in his strong arms as she closed her eyes and rested her head on his chest. He looked down at her with his brown eyes smiling. His brown curly locks being blown up by the wind. His white t- shirt  and black sweat pants being pulled by the cool air. "Well, if we get there early we will have the whole day to spend at Six Flags, and also why not. You can sleep in the car so suck it up." I said resting my back on the car. I crossed my arms and feet as I looked at a sleepy Kayla trying to stay awake on Aidan's shoulder. My eyes were falling as I tried to keep my mind awake. I felt the breeze hit my warm cheek which woke me up. "I still say we should've been able to sleep in a little longer." Jessie said walking around from her car. Her short hair shining in the sunlight from the rising sun. Her eyes low and her voice scratchy. Her rainbow Vans clicking on the concrete drive way. Her big hoodie covering half of her short legs. "Damn. Can y'all stop complaining for a second?" Asher said putting in his bag of clothes in the trunk of my car. His hair messy, falling in his face. His eyes red and his voice deep. His basket ball shorts blowing and his black shirt rippling in the wind. "Shut up, Asher." Kayla said opening one eye while her head still laid comfortably on Aidan's broad shoulders. Asher rolled his eyes as he leaned against the trunk of my car cooly. "Well, learn how to not complain about every inconvenience you have to face, and then we can talk." he said cocking his brow. His sinister smirk peaking, knowing he touched a nerve. "Fuck off." Kayla said flipping him off with her middle finger. Her nude painted nails slightly shining in the sun. "Do y'all ever shut the fuck up? Y'all are too damn loud." a low voice said sounding scratchy. I whip my head around as I see Ethan walking towards the group. His hands placed in his pockets and his blonde, long hair flowing in the coastal breeze. His deep blue eyes hidden underneath his golden locks. His steps feeling heavier the closer he came. He looked at everyone who was quite startled by his sudden appearance after he refused to get up with the rest of the group moments before. "I don't remember asking." Asher said raising his brow. His sly smile growing as he tried to push Ethan's buttons. Ethan glared at him. His blue eyes appearing from under his hair as it glistened in the rising sun. His eyes narrowed, piercing holes through Asher's body. The redness of his eyes only adding to his intimidating stare. His dark aura became apparent as he stared coldly at Asher, causing him to fidget under his stare. "Damn. My bad." Asher said putting his hands up in the air in defeat, slight redness appearing across his freckled cheeks from embarrassment. Ethan grew a smirk knowing he had won before walking up closer behind me, placing his large veiny hands on my shoulder. His thumb slight rubbing my skin through my shirt. "So, who's driving with who?" Ethan said. His low voice vibrating as his other hand rested on my other shoulder, digging his thumbs into my neck, gently rubbing the nape of my neck. His dominant, fiery energy emitting from him as I tilted my head back, it resting in the center of his chest and looked up at his ocean blue eyes. His dark circles making the rest of his sharp facial features apparent while giving him a mysterious look. His hands found their way under my shirt as he started to massage my bare shoulders, taking my bra strap and slipping it off my shoulder so he can have better access. His hot, rough finger pads pressing into my skin. Butterflies formed in the pit of my stomach as I looked up at his cold eyes. His glistening deep blue eyes looked into mine as he continued to rub my shoulders, his light pink lips forming a smirk as he knows he's making me nervous. I quickly zoned out while looking at his eyes and melting underneath his touch. His black tank top fitted his body perfectly as his muscular arms looked defined in the lighting. The cloth of his grey sweat pants grazed the back of my bare thigh as he came closer to my body, the heat from his skin easily transferring to mine. Gosh, this man could ruin my life and I'd thank him. "Hey, dumbass. I asked you a question." He said taking his hand from my shirt and gently brushing my stray away hair behind my ear.  "Well, good morning to you. You were supposed to be up 15 minutes ago." I said taking his hands and placing it back on his chest. He looked at me as I stretched my arms in the air one more time before walking towards the trunk of my car. I pushed Asher off of the bumper as I grabbed the handle at the top and pulled it down. "Tch. Didn't know there was a schedule." he said putting his hands back into the pockets of his sweats. He tilted his head while looking at me. His gaze feeling heavy as his eyes traveled all the way up my figure. "But, what idiots am I gonna have to stay stuck with? I can't really tolerate anyone else, but you. " He said giving everyone a sly stare knowing he pissed them off a bit. "Hey, what about me?" Jessie said her eyebrows furrowed and her mouth open. "Eh. You're ok." he said running his hand through his blonde messy hair. His deep voice sounding monotone as he stared with his scary eyes. Her face brightened as she skipped around to me and rested her head on my shoulder. "I'm your boyfriends favorite." She giggled as her cheeks began to glow and her eyes closed as she smiled. I rolled my eyes as I patted her head. I looked at Ethan, who was making his way to me. He approached me and Jessie, towering over both of us. He smirked at us, his eyes glaring before grabbing the top of Jessie's head. Her eyes widen in confusion as he picked her up and move her away from me. She just kind of let it happened as everyone tried to keep in their laughs. I just looked into Ethan's mischievous eyes as he approached me and walked behind me before wrapping his strong and warm arms around my neck and pulling me to his chest. "That was uncalled for." I said as I blushed and messed with his hair. " What the hell was that? You know what. Y'all be sappy somewhere else. I don't want to see this. " Jessie said crossing her arms as her lips formed a dramatic pout. She started and huffing and puffing fluke a toddler in time out as we all laughed. "You know what. Fuck y'all." She said as she turned her back towards us. "How are you gonna switch up like that? Bipolar ass." I said while holding Ethan's arms that were firmly wrapped around me. I smiled as Jessie flipped both me and Ethan off. "Oh, someone is just bitter because they have no one to cuddle with on the ride over there." Arabella said as she pushed her hair off her shoulders while smiling at Jessie. "Oh, shut up, Arabella." Jessie yelled  while she threw her hands down her side. Arabella smirked at her before raising her brow. Jessie came around nudging her a bit. Arabella stumbled back a bit before taking off her white Crocs and chucking it at Jessie. Everyone was amused by this little altercation. I removed Ethan's arms from around me. He looked disgusted as he glared at me. I rolled my eyes at him as he placed his hands back into his pockets. I walked in between Arabella and Jessie as I stretched my hands out. "Ok ok, y'all can stop. And, Jessie doesn't need a guy when she has me." I said as I turned my head towards her and winked at her. She blushed as she walked up towards me and grabbed my hand. Arabella put her hands up in defeat as she giggled. "Yo. That's kinda gay." Asher said as he walked forward towards Arabella before grabbing her in his arms. "But not as gay as you kissing your homies ass." I said while tilting my head and shooting him a cute smile. "The fuck." Ethan said furrowing his brow before shaking his head. "But, anyways, we already figured out who's going in what car. In my car, it's gonna be me, Ethan, Arabella, and Asher. And in Jessie's car, it's gonna be her, Kayla, Olivia, and Aidan." I said pointing at the two cars. "So, I get to be in a car with you alone for two hours, damn." Ethan said smirking while he walked up to me putting his hand on my shoulder. I blushed nudged him. "Keep it in your pants please; I'm driving. You forget?" I said before smacking his hand off of me. "Oh no." He said sarcastically waving his hands in the air. "Well, are we gonna get going or are we gonna watch y'all two flirt? It's kinda cringe too." Asher said walking up to the car door and placing his hand on the handle. He banged his head against the car door out of frustration and exhaustion. "Oh hush, Asher. We both know for a fact, if you and Arabella had a separate car, y'all would be on top of each other the whole ride. I don't want to hear it. With your horny ass. Don't be coming for me. " I said before unlocking the car doors as I furrowed my brow at him. I placed my hand on my hip while glaring at a caught off guard Asher as he stood by the car door. His face became red as glared back at me. "Fucking mind your business, McKenna." Asher said as he blushed. Arabella threw her hand over her mouth and tried to hold in her laugh. Asher blushed and shook his head. "I'm getting in the car." He said covering his red face as he ducked his head and plopped into the car. The car sinked closer to the ground with the extra weight of him dramatically throwing himself in the car. I laughed at him. I looked at Ethan who nodded his head before walking towards the passenger side of the car. He grabbed the handle before sitting down in the car. "Let's get going then." Kayla said while throwing the rest of her stuff in the trunk of  Jessie's big Jeep. She grabbed a blanket from her bag and plopped into the car. Aidan and Olivia followed as they shut the door, and the car engine started up. I opened my car door as I stepped in and sat down on the lowly seated car. I put the keys into the ignition as I looked behind me. "Y'all ready to go?" I said looking at Asher and Arabella. "Yep. Let's get this show on a road, luv." Arabella said in a British accent. Her small hands gripped onto the back of the head of my car seat as she looked at me with her brightly lit eyes. "I swear, if you do that anymore, I'm kicking you out of this car." I said as I glared at her. Arabella laughed as she tucked her hair behind her ear. "And, please don't get this car dirty. My mom would kill me if this car was a mess." I said as I grabbed the back of Ethan's seat as I turned my body to see out the window. I slowly backed out of the drive way with Jessie following behind. Asher and Arabella nodded in agreement as I shifted the gears back into drive. I pressed on the gas as the car jolted forward. "To San Antonio, here we go." I sighed as we left the neighborhood.
