"Athy!"
A man called her out.

From the voice, Athy can figured out who called her,
"Daddy!"
She replied to Anastacius.

Jenette walked behind her and glanced at the black haired man giving Athy a big hug.

"Daddy, I miss you so much!"
Athy whispered and hugged him tighter.
Her tears of joy started to dripped.

"Ah.. I miss my daughter too"
Anastacius smiled and wiped Athy's tears gently.
He then notice the girl who's standing behind Athy.
'Jenette?..'

"Hello, mr.."
Jenette pause a bit, she didn't know his name.

"Patterson"
Anastacius said, coldly.

"What a common name.."
She whispered, softly while looking deeply to his black eyes.

"Huh?"
Anastacius said.

"N-nothing, greetings, I'm Jenette"
Jenette smiled waved her hand.

"Oh.. you're the princess from Obelia, it's a pleasure to meet you, your highness"
Anastacius said and bow down.

"Aha.. you don't need to bow, you can call me Jenette too"
She smiled.

Anastacius didn't answered Jenette, he didn't care, he already knows anyways.
"Um, can I have a time, with Athy, for a few minute?"
He asked and pulled Athy closer to him a bit.

"Sure, go ahead"
Jenette said
"I'll wait here"
She continues.

"Thanks"
Anastacius smiled a bit and bring Athy a bit further than Jenette.
"Athy"
He said, he kneel down so Athy can look at him easily.

Athy tilt her head down a bit and starred at Anastacius's black eyes.
"Yes, daddy?"
Athy asked.

"Listen, next week is a holiday right?.."
Anastacius asked. Athy nods and smiles, she expected he would bring Athy somewhere to explore and have fun.
"I'm sorry, Athy, I can't spend the holiday with you, Crimson kingdom had asked for my presence on a banquet.."

"Ah.. it's okay, daddy"
Athy smiled.
"I'll be fine"

"And.. the emperor request for a tea time with you in our residence, I'll ask Lucas to protect you"
Anastacius informed.

"I don't need Lucas, I'm strong!"
Athy giggled.

Anastacius smiled, seeing Athy's cute giggles really made his heart relieved somehow.
"Still, I'll ask Lucas."
He continues and pat Athy's head.

"Well then, goodbye"
Anastacius smiled and waved.

"Mhm, bye bye daddy!"
Athy waved back and walked back to Jenette.
"I'm sorry for that long conversation"

"It's okay, Athy"
Jenette said.
"You guys seemed close.."

"Of course, he's my father"
Athy explained.

'Father?.. didn't mr Anastacius.. took her?.. he ditch Athy?! How mean..'
Jenette thought.

"Jenette, are you okay?.."
Athy asked and waved her hands infront of Jenette to snapped her out.

"Ah, princess Jenette! There you are!"
Somebody called out.

"Izekiel!"
Jenette noticed, quickly.
"Nice to see you"
She smiled, innocently.

"Ah, Athy is here too.."
Izekiel smiled and waved at Athy, Athy smiled back to him.
"Heres the book you're asking for.. it took days for me to look.."
Izekiel sighed and hand over a book.

"Oh, I'm sorry Izekiel. I'll looked for it next time, by myself"
Jenette smiled.
"And thankyou"

"Hm? That book, it's about ancient magic isn't it?"
Athy asked and pointed the book Jenette's holding.

"Yea, do you know about it?"
Jenette asked.

"Yes, I've read some pages, unfortunately, some of the pages got burned.."
Athy sighed.

"Wow.. Athy.. you really read a lot of books.."
Izekiel said.

"Hmm.. not too many.. at least once a week"
Athy smiled.

"Ah.. right, Athy, I've finished the novel you gave me"
Izekiel smiled.
"It is very beautiful, and there are a lot of poems inside, and it really helped me for my art lesson"
Izekiel said.

"I'm glad you like it.."
Athy giggled.

Jenette watched the two continue chattering about that novel.
'They looked very close.. i guesse so.. they spent three years together in this school..'
Jenette thought.
'But.. why it made my heart itched to see them together?..'
"Athy!"

Athy and Izekiel, both, starred at Jenette.
More like they're suprised with her calling Athy out of the blue.

"Can you please.. suggest me some books?.."
