The "But I am not american" narrative CANNOT justify your complacency. There is racism in every country, including ours, and you can choose to address and speak against the anti-blackness now and show your support for the movement!
Please don't let a hashtag be where your advocacy starts and ends — share links, educate yourself, sign petitions, donate if you can, exercise your free speech and talk about what needs to be said. A platform no matter how small it is, is still a platform.
Educate your peers and family about what's going on. We are beyond awareness. Performative activism does not make you anti-racist.
You don't have to be american, or any nationality, to feel rage for injustice. At the end of the day, we're all human and we all have a choice — to stand against one another or with each other.
