"Heart is beating loud and she doesn't want it to stop" I jammed in my room as I curled my hair.

After thinking for a long time, mom called me and Bethany and told us to get ready.

As far as I know, dad reserved a table for all of us along with some of his friends and their family.

Personally, I hate people.

They are boring, especially when they are your family's friends. They tend to have the most annoying kids ever.

I got up anyway and decided to wear something comfortable because I was feeling so down already.

I wore a pair of ripped jeans and a glitter crop top. I didn't feel like wearing any dresses or skirts today.

I continued curling my hair as I sang the rest of 'Night changes'.

I looked at the colour of my hair and felt my heart sink for a second.

I thought I got used to the bright red, but I guess not...

I applied the littlest amount of makeup I could possibly put on my tanned skin.

I smiled into the mirror and convinced my self that tonight could be special....

"Dad I'm hungry." I nagged continuously.

"Be patient Lea. They'll be here any second." Dad told me.

I groaned and sat back in my seat. We have been here for more than 20 minutes already. The people didn't show up yet and dad thinks that it's impolite to eat or order food before everyone is here.

I couldn't care less about what they thought right now because my tummy was doing weird ass noises.

"Chloe!!" a well dressed lady walked towards my mom as she pulled her into a hug.

Her family trailed behind her and started greeting the rest of my family.

"Finally." I whispered to Bethany as she laughed quietly and stood up to greet the people.

I straightened my pants and trailed along.

Jai's POV

We were planning a prank on Alex's sister so we can film it and post it on YouTube. Daniel couldn't come to this trip with us because he stayed back with his family.

Sam was cute and her actions reminded me of Lea.

She's the only girl on mind.

How could I forget that smile of her's? She's beautiful. I would literally do anything to know were she is right now.

"Sam is speaking on the phone." Alex told us.

"Yeah but where is she?" Beau asked.

"At the beach of course. She has been laying on the sand ever since we came here. Her skin became orange." Joked Alex.

We all chuckled at his last sentence. That was harsh.

"So should we get the camera set up already?"Luke said impatiently.

"No wait. Can you repeat the prank?" I stopped them. I wasn't really listening when they were planning our positions. I zoned out when I remembered Lea.

"Okay," sighed James. "You go out, grab her bag without her noticing and come back here."

"Why me?" I narrowed my eyes.

"Because...shut up and do it." He laughed.

"Then?"

"Then Beau and Luke will go out and place this little harmless lizard next to her and then run back. When she notices, she'll probably scream and when she does that Alex will run out with a bucket of cold water and splash it on the poor frightened girl. Then she will run back here to look for her bag and find her towel. You will give her the bag but you won't give her her phone. Just make her go mad for a while then give it to her."

"You guys are sick." Said Jai frowning.

"Wait I'm not done." Stopped James. "Then we get her cake and sing her a happy birthday." He smiled.

"She'll rub the cake in your face." Pointed Jai.

"She can't run after us. Her feet are wet. So that's a fail. She'll slip." Luke said, laughing.

"You people are mean. Is it even her birthday?" Said Jai.

"Yeah it's tomorrow." Said Alex.

"Let's get started." I rubbed my hands together.
