This story is set in the Context and Culture of Cordillera, Philippines. Thus, the (fictional) characters are of Cordilleran descent too - also known as 'Igorots'.
The Igorots are an Indigineous group of tribes situated in the high mountains of central Luzon, in the CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region).
However, some of the places incorporated in this story are a pure work of my imagination thus may not always fit accurately with the said setting.
