Y/n was laying down bored on her bed. She missed her husband so much. He'll come back in an hour but she was in a mood to do something fun.
Recently she has been watching a lot of prank videos. Maybe this time calls for a prank. She went through her phone for different prank ideas.
She hesitated for a while whether to do this prank because it's not a fun subject but still she wanted to see his reaction.
The divorce prank !
Just to make it more real Y/n collected some blank sheets from Namjoon's work roon and stuffed them in an envelope.
Now all she has to do is wait for him to come home. She decided to text him.
Me : where are you ? Joonie : omw. I'll be there in 10 mins Me : oh good. I have to talk 2 u abt something Joonie : what's wrong baby 😟 Me : I have to say it in person. Joonie : im worried.
She left him on seen. Already Y/n felt like she couldn't do it, she's laughing out loud already. Namjoon is that kind of husband who takes care of his wife more than himself. He guides her, advices her, loves her more than anything in this world.
So it would be more easy to prank him. Exactly 10 mins later Y/n could hear the door clicking, she quickly puts on a straight face and walks downstairs to the living room
" Y/n ?" Namjoon called out loud. He smiled at her walking down the stairs but soon frowned looking at her expression.
As soon as she came down he wrapped his arms around her hips and pulled her in for a kiss but Y/n pulled back and pushed him away. " Baby ?" He questioned at her strange behaviour " I have to tell you something " Y/n muttered controlling her laughter. " What is it ?" He asked concern filled in his eyes
She felt like giving in that moment. But she was determined to see his reaction " You know like how you were my first boyfriend, you showed me the world, you loved me and you've been a great husband---" Namjoon's eyebrows scrunched in confusion on what is this supposed to me
" I really liked this whole time with you but I think I fell out of love Namjoon" Y/n had a sad expression and sat on the couch.
He was out of words, it was like his whole world stopped working. " W-what ?" He asked as he thought he might have heard her wrong.
" I think it's better we part ways ". Namjoon ran his hands through his hair not believing what is happening right now " You're joking right ?" He scoffed " Why would I be joking about something like this ? I'm serious I don't see a future with you " she spoke
" Baby I love you and you love me. We're married. We promised we would stay with each other till the end no matter what " he said but a bit louder than earlier " Yeah we promised. But promises are meant to be broken, aren't they ? This is reality Namjoon not a fairytale. People fall out of love and ----"
Suddenly another thought popped into her head "And ?" " And I love a-another man "she said
The moment she said that his heart dropped to his feat. He fell back on the couch. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes " I want a divorce Namjoon " she confessed not giving him the time to think about what is going on
She took the envelope and placed it on the table. " A-another m-man ? Then was this all a lie Y/n, the times you said you loved me" his voice cracked. " I did love you but I don't see a future with you anymore " she said with a cold voice.
" Don't do this to me baby, please " he said as tears started slipping from his eyes.
Y/n was taken back by his action. She never thought he would cry. She didn't want to take it this far.
He fiercely stood up and walked to the bedroom and locked it. Y/n decided to stop this right now. She felt gilty for making him cry, she didn't mean it at all.
She ran upstairs and opened the door to find him sitting on the edge of the bed, his face buried in his hands. He was crying hard. Y/n quickly ran to him and sat beside him engulfing him in a hug. " Joonie, it was a prank. I'm so so sorry " she tried consoling him. It was like he didn't hear her voice at all.
She stood up and kneeled infront of him. She removed his hands from his face and cupped his cheeks. " I'm so sorry, it was a joke, please don't cry " she wiped his tears off.

She regretted doing this prank, she felt guilty. If she was in his shoes, she would've reacted worse and she blames herself for not thinking about it.
Without uttering a word he pulled her to his lap and hugged her tightly afraid she might leave him anytime " Don't ever do that baby" he said nuzzling his face into her neck
She moved his face to have a look at it. She pushed his wet bangs away from his forehead. " So you don't want a divorce from me ? " He asked with a light smile " Of course not they were all blank papers " she said. He moved forward and placed a peck on her lip.
" Look at your face, red from all the crying" she said as she wiped his dried tears off. " You made me cry " he giggled. Y/n was happy seeing him smile. She thought pranks would make her laugh but him being happy is all she wanted
She wrapped her hands around his torso and buried her head in his chest listening to his soft heartbeats. " This is what I want when I come back not my wife pranking me " he laughed. Y/n laughed along, she was thinking the same. Pranks were a silly idea.
" I love you Joonie " she said " I love you more baby " he kissed her cheek
