Meek POV

Nicki was going to the orphanage again with her team, her mom and Candi

"This time around we ain't adopting no child" I said

"Okay" she said

"No matter how beautiful or handsome they look we ain't adopting" I said

"I hear you Meek" she said putting on her lipstick

"I gotta make sure cause I know that you sometimes have a hearing problem and go against my wishes" I said

"I heard your wishes and I'm gonna make them come true" she said

I kissed her

"That's my girl"

"Make sure that you check Simone's diaper frequently" she said

"Girl I know how to take care of my own daughter" I said

"I'm just reminding you" she said

"I don't have a hearing problem like you" I said

"Are you gonna cook dinner tonight?" She asked

"I'll try"

"And if you order food don't order fish or Chinese food they make me sick" she said

"Okay I'll see what I can do" I said

She hugged me

"I'll be back early today I gotta catch up on my sleep" she said

"Okay Mrs pregnant, enjoy your day honey" I said kissing her

She pulled away and got her phone from the dresser

"See you later Milly" she did the peace sign and walked out

Today I was working from home I ordered a few things for Lauren's new bedroom and I hope that she'll like it

Lucy arrived at 1 pm even though I told her not to come

"You're early" I said

"I know I just wanted to come early and prepare myself to help the kids"

"Whatever" I went to the kitchen and drank water

"Do you like being married?" She asked

"What kinda question is that?" I asked

"I'm just asking since Nicki is pregnant I know things are hard on your side, I heard that pregnant women can be crazy" she said

"It's Mrs Williams to you and stop asking me questions I ain't ya friend"

"I'm just trying to get to know my boss better"

"You ain't here for me, you here for the kids so focus on that" I said

She nodded and went to the living room

I picked up the kids from school and took them home Simone was being lazy today I don't know what's wrong with her

I was in my office reading my emails Simone was in her stroller I put her next to me in case she decides to be extra and cry for attention Lauren walked in and sat on one of the chairs

"Hi Daddy" she waved at me smiling

"Hi babygirl, wassup?"

"Nothing" she said
