I was working from home today Nicki went to an orphanage with her team to volunteer then they will be giving out food parcels to homeless people I really like what she is doing and I wish I was there to support her
I was getting ready for my zoom meeting with an artist from Canada after my zoom meeting I went to pick up Papi from school who was very excited today
"What made you so happy champ?" I asked
"We were playing house and I was the father" he said
"You was probably a horrible father" I said laughing
"I was, I was yelling and telling everyone what to do" he said
"You watch too much television boy" I said
"I guess it's working cause I'm a good actor" he said
This generation is messed up
We went to Adia's school when I got there she was sitting alone with so much toys around her
I asked her teachers why was she sitting alone when there are kids around her and her teachers told me that she didn't wanna play with anyone
Kids are weird human beings
I called her and she smiled when she saw me she ran to me and hugged my leg tightly and I mean tightly to the point where I could feel the blood circulation stopping I picked her up and she laid her head on my chest
I got her bag she blew kisses to all her teachers before leaving
She can be sweet sometimes
I walked to the car and put her in the backseat I put her bag in the trunk
"Put on your safety belt" I said
She put on her safety belt I got in the car
"We are going to McDonald's and you're both going to be on your best behavior okay?" I asked
"The bestest" Papi said
I looked back at Adia
"I'm always on my best behavior" she said
I looked away she's never on her best behavior I drove to McDonald's and we went inside and got them whatever they want then we went back to the car and ate our ice cream when we were done with our ice cream I drove to Mama Carol's house to pick up Simone fortunately she was sleeping I got her bag and put her in her car seat
"Daddy why is sleeping?" Adia asked
"Cause she is tired" I said
"I'm also tired but I'm not sleeping" she said
"You're only tired of being naughty, nothing else" I said
Papi was quiet cause he was jamming to the music that was playing
We got home and Papi carried Simone's bag and Adia carried her bag and Papi's bag I took out Simone of her car seat she whined a little then got quiet her ass is real heavy
We need to let her starve at least for 2 days
I put Simone in her little bed that was in the living room
"Papi do you have homework?" I asked
"Yes" he said
"Go change your clothes, drink water and come sit with me so I can help you with it" I said
