So I'm gonna be honest with you; I haven't actually read this.

I know, I know... I suck.

But... After reading this description and a few paragraphs from the first chapter, I came to the conclusion that The Essence Of Noah by Alt-ernative deserved a place on this list.

Description: Raised by an Egyptian, Muslim father and an Australian, non religious mother, Hana is brought up to figure things out for herself. Not being fully one thing or another, and having two contrasting religious perspectives to learn from, Hana is faced with familial, religious and personal pressures upon any decision she needs to make. As opportunity strikes to move away from Adelaide to Melbourne for Uni, Hana is given the chance to start over on her own, but not before she meets Noah at a local Tip-Top store.

For a start... Australia. I don't know if you readers have noticed but I'm a massive fan of the country I live in, and it's nice to see stories that are set in it.

I also think that there's a lot of awful stereotypes surround Muslims and I think this book is really going to address and break them!

You may be wondering why I haven't read it, and that's because I don't have the time to read fifty chapters of a book before adding it to my list; I want to hurry up and fill this book up so I can give you a completed collection of incredible and diverse books.

I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for a good book to binge that features diversity!
