CHAPTER 9 – THE STAR IN HER SKY
SHIN’s POV
“Urgh!” I winced in pain. I can’t believe a girl threw me! Sht.
It’s been a week simula nung malaman ko na may nagtatangka pala sa buhay ko. I also found out Mash’s true infos. Not the one she uses at school. I’m a year older than her and she is not really qualified to be a teacher so that really gives me a reason to call her just ‘Mash’ =__=
“C’mon! Stand up!” Mash said as she offers me her hand to help me stand up. I took it.
“I’m not gonna be your guard 24/7! You need to learn to defend yourself.” She insisted that she’ll train me how to fight and improve my skills and stuffs.
“I can defend myself!” i argued. This training crap annoys me that much urgh!
“Not from everyone! Shin, Hindi lang naman puchu puchung holdaper ang may target sayo! Trained sila! Like us agents ya know. Plus, I’ll kick your ass if you don’t cooperate! ” she said while smiling evilly at me. Urgh, that smile bothers me.
“Fine! Fine!”
Fck! My whole body fckin’ hurts! Damn you Mash! Tsss! I just lay in my bed.
I heard the door opened and closed. “Oy, Ayos ka lang?”
“You fckin’ think I’m okay? Tss! You did this =__=”
She ignored my statement and looked outside through the window. “Ang daming stars.” Sabi niya na nakatalikod parin. Kahit nakatalikod siya, nakita ko parin ang konting ngiti niya.
“Tara nga samahan mo ko! Dalii tayo na diyan!” What the fck?!
“I’m fcking tired and my fcking body fckin’ hurts!” This girl is damn annoying!
In the end I was dragged by her. Now we are on our way to some place. It’s been a long drive until we arrived at some ranch. Ang peaceful ng atmosphere dito. Kita ang lawak ng lupain dahil sa mga ilaw na nakasindi sa paligid.
“Huy! Tara dali sa treehouse ko!” she brought me in a treehouse. Maayos lang. Sa loob may sofa and some stuffs pero nandito kami sa labas e. Mataas din dito. Hula ko nga kita mo ang lawak ng ranch nila pag nandito ka eh.
A minute of silence before she broke it.
“Alam mo, dito ko lagi nagiistargazing.” She said with a slight smile.
“Why did you dragged me here?” i asked.
“Wala lang, gusto ko lang ng makakasama ngayon. Nung tiningnan ko lang kasi yung stars may naalala ko.”
“Who could that be?”
“Kapag ba may naalala sino na agad?!
Pero just someone special. Para kasi sakin, Siya kasi yung star na pinakanagshine nung madilim ang paligid ko.” She looked at me and smiled.
Her statement got me curious, so i asked, “What about your other stars?”
“Wala, kung kelan uulan na di ko na sila makita pero siya, He stayed.” HE daw oh =_=
“Haha! Ngayon ko lang narealize ang corny pala ng pinagsasabi ko sorry xD” Yeah, but for me, it’s not corny if you’re truly sincere and I can feel he’s really special to you.
We just stared at the sky. I spoke. “Me too, I have a sun. My brightest star but it seems i can’t remember her.” Hindi na siya nagsalita at tuloy lang ang pagtingin sa langit.
“Masaya ako kasi kasama ko ang star ko.” She whispered but I didn’t quite hear.
