Tommy's POV:-

"You don't remember me,do you?"He sounded so broken.I felt so bad for putting him through all this pain.

I just shook my head and looked away,I just couldn't bring myself to look at him.

"I'm sorry.."I whispered.

"Gentlemen?"
I looked up to see the doctor standing there.He offered me a gentle smile which I returned.

"How are you feeling Tommy?"

"I'm alright"

The doctor nodded and grabbed his clipboard.

"Well,Now that Adam is here.I'll have to explain everything."

I nodded my head,I saw Adam from the corner of my eye moving closer to my bed.

"Tommy,When you were brought to the hospital,We were informed that you had been involved in a car accident that severely injured your head."

"You had A surgery that went great,It missed any vital organ."

"Thank god.." I heard Adam sigh out, i softly chuckled at his response.

"So does that mean I get to take him home?"Adam asked.

My eyes widened,No.
I can't go.
I know that this man is my boyfriend. But he was a complete stranger to me at the moment.

I felt awful for not wanting to go with him,He seemed like a lovely person.
I did trust him though,There was something about him that just made you trust him.
But with that thought in mind,This man was still a complete stranger.

I looked at the doctor with wide eyes, awaiting his response.
He looked between me and Adam.

"He may need a couple of HBO therapy sessions before he goes home"

"HBO?" Adam and I asked at the same time.

The doctor chuckled "Hyperbaric oxygen therapy,it's high concentrated forms of oxygen used for several things.
Like healing burns and infections,it helps the bodies natural healing process so you're actually healing from the inside."

"So I won't be able to take him home today?"Adam sounded disappointed.

"I'm afraid not,His first HBO treatment will be today.So he will be able to go home sometime this week"

Adam's face instantly brightened, He turned to me with a loving smile on his face.
"I can't wait for you to come home,I've missed you so much"
I stared deeply into his eyes,They showed nothing but love and concern.
I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face.

Maybe going home with Adam wouldn't be so bad.

"Aright,moving on with the information.Tommy has retrograde amnesia"

"R-retrograde amnesia?"Adam stuttered.

I looked at Adam,He looked so pale and scared.
I took a deep breath and held his hand,i had to remind myself that this man is my boyfriend.it was okay to do this.
I gave it a small squeeze,hoping it would somehow make him feel better
His hold on my hand tightened,but I didn't mind.
If it helps him then that's all that matters.

"Yes"The doctor nodded his head.
"retrograde meaning people affected with this type have trouble with recalling the past before the amnesia started"
The doctor looked at me,I nodded my head to confirm him that I understood.

"So will he ever get his memory back?"

"We ran several scans,and the brain is healing very well. So you have nothing to worry about"the doctor smiled reassuringly.
Adam let out a sigh of relief

"Well,that's all that concerns Tommy.I must get going"

"Thank you doctor"

He smiled and turned away,Leaving the room.

After a few minutes of silence, I realized that Adam was still holding my hand,But I didn't mind.
I kind of liked it,I liked the way my hand fit with his like a glove.

I started growing tired,everything was tiring me out.
I was struggling to keep my eyes open at this point.
I really wanted to rest.

"Sleep Tommy"Adam suddenly said,it was as if he could read my thoughts.

"Stay..please"I whispered,already drifting off to sleep.

He squeezed my hand gently
"I'm not going anywhere baby.."
