orphaned chapter 8

I walked back into my office and took the file out again. This didn't seem too tough. I spent the rest of the day making calls and putting up a cover story for why I was going to be gone for a while. I told everyone that I was going to one of our many houses to just have some time to deal with my parent's death.

I knew that a lot of people were shocked. I had a reputation as the girl that never stopped working for anything. But they didn't make any comments.

After I finished, I quickly packed up my files and things that were essential like my credit cards and fake ID. No clothes or anything apart from a skin tight jump suit that mum and dad got me for my birthday and the clothes I was wearing which was a pair of leggings, a long top/dress, a long, black cardigan and some black, high-heeled boots that went up to the knee.

I packed my washing bag and then locked up and headed to the room where was staying with matt. I left a note explaining where i was going, (The cover story) then I shut the door and left.

I was on the plane to London looking over the blueprints for the house that Seriano lived in with his family. I made sure that I memorised all the escape routes and hiding places.

It was a huge house. Maybe even bigger than our house in Florida!

Once I was happy that I knew the house inside out, I pulled my iPod touch out of my pocket and put my earphones in.

Don't have a certain taste in music. I just love anything I can sing along to.

Whip my hair by willow smith came on. I think it's so cool how a kid who is only 10 years old can sound like Rihanna!

Within an hour I was in Heathrow airport. (London airport)

Something seemed a little off. Something wasn't right. I turned around to see nothing out of the usual. I kept an eye out for anything that looked different, but nothing looked any different than a normal day at Heathrow.

If I was any normal teenager I would have just shrugged it off. But I'm not a normal teenager. Im trained to be a spy/agent/body guard or anything along those lines. I took out my gun (disguised as a lighter) and kept an eye out for anything wrong as I left the airport.

I hopped right into the first taxi I saw; unfortunately I had to endure a few angry people as I stole their taxi, and told the guy that I needed to get to the Hilton hotel as soon as possible. He nodded once and started the engine.

We were at the hotel in only 10 minutes. I paid the taxi driver and quickly grabbed my bag and walked in.

The woman at the front desk gave me a warm smile. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes with delicate features that made her look like a porcelain doll.

"Hello, my name is Connie. How can I help you today?" she asked.

"Hi Connie, my name is Sarah Collins and I would like a room please." I smiled politely.

"Of course, Ms. Collins. May I see some ID? Only for security you see" she said.

I smiled and took out one of my many fake IDs. It was a driver's licence that said I was Sarah Collins and that I was 19 years old and that I was not married.

Even though I'm only 14, I look about 18 or 19. Or so im told anyway. People think that I am old enough to drink and all that stuff. But I never put them straight; I just tell them that don't drink.

She checked it over and then handed it back to me.

"Thank you Miss Collins. I will find you a room. Is there a price limit that you want to keep to?" she asked whilst typing into the computer, my details, or my fake ones anyway.
