Skull's Past(Part 3)

So Nora and Neil have finally reunited with each other!!! But they are both sworn enemies!? How should they proceed?!

Neil's POV

After Nora got the Watcher to back off she took me to a local carvern she is staying at as she took my cloak and the three of us just sat around the table in tense silence

'Well this is definitely not awkward' I couldn't help but think bitterly

The Watchers are people who study, defeat and track down supernatural occurrences as they also have the duty to guide, train and watch over Slayers throughout history or from what I manage to gather

The man who was apparently my sister's Watcher is someone I have no information about other than his first name being Jack

He was a little taller than me by a few inches with a slim physique as he strawberry blonde hair, vibrant blue eyes and slightly tanned skin as he wore a suit

"Let me ask you some questions Vampire how long have you've been a Vampire? Have you ever drank human blood? And what do you plan on doing?" He asked me angrily saying the word Vampire with so much venom to it

"Well I became a Vampire seven years ago, no I haven't drank human blood the only thing keeping me sane so far was drinking animal blood that I get from the Butcher's anomisouly and the only thing I wanted for these torturous seven years was to find my sister, do you have anymore questions?" I asked in a tired tone

"Why is your eyes and hair a different color? Who turned you into a Vampire, brother?" Asked Nora as her eyes became wide and glossy as she looked ready to burst into tears again

"Well the Vampire who is my Sire goes by the name Samuel he told me I'm apparently a rare case of a Vampire still having their human soul which might explain why my coloring changed but other than that I have no useful information" I responded tiredly

That damn Vampire left me on my own for seven years with barely any information on what happened to me as I had to somehow survive on my own without letting the entire human race know that I was a Vampire

"Well Nora there's some business I need to take care of right now so I must take my leave" I told her blandly as I got up

"But Neil why do you have to go? Why can't you stay?!" She asked me desperately as I put on my cloak and gave her a sad smile

"Nora you are a Slayer every fiber of your being is telling you to kill me and if I stay any longer the two of us are only going to get hurt" I told her as I grabbed the door nob the I turned towards the other man

"You may hate my existence as a Vampire but I have a request of keeping an eye on my sister in my absence" I told as he snorts and looks away

"Bye Nora I feel like this isn't the last time we will see each other...and I hope we meet on the same side..." I told her wistfully as I closed the door behind me then using my superior speed so my sister couldn't fallow me

I stood on the roof on a building right across the street as I gave a long look towards the window of my sister's window

'I only wish to protect you...and I must do it from a distance as I shall drift away but I will always keep an eye on you...' I couldn't help but think as I went to my next destination

Seven days later

As I stood in the middle of a burning village as I surrounded by blood, human corpses and vampire ashes as I was frozen in shock

'This wasn't suppose to happen'

' She wasn't suppose to die'

These thoughts were running Ruth rough my head as I held the bloody corpse of my sister as her final moments were of her forcing her blood down my throat

I came to investigate a abnormally high number of humans disappearing in a village which I completely believed held a Vampire's coven but things started escalating when those who were unaware of our existence were getting involved

I had to just make sure there wasn't some sort of vampire outbreak but then things turned into absolute chaos when my sister got involved

She let loose on a Vampire village where she slayed at least half of the vampire residence that it was a blood battle when I got there that she far to lost in her Slayer instincts that she slayed every vampire in her path as she made her way towards me

As she held the knife that our parents left her she held it up with shaky hands as she had a pained expression as her faces was stained with blood and tears as she looked at me with eyes that said

'Please run away from me I don't want to kill you...' was what her eyes were telling as I slowly shook my head keeping eye contact as I gave her a sad smile

"Nora I can never run from you... your my family and I promised...to protect you as your brother..." I told her truthfully as I took a step closer as that knife was next to my neck

"And the only person that is allowed to kill me is the one I love and cherish most in this world" I told her as she just look at me in shock as her bangs shadowed her eyes

"Then I cannot kill you brother with my blood stained hands..." she said but she choked as spit out blood

"Nora!" I shouted as she fell into my arms as there was a sword rammed through her gut as I held her tight begging her not to die

But she raised her hand to silence me as I held my breath as I gasped in shock as she slashed her own hand with the knife

"Hey what are you-?!" I tried to ask as she her bleeding in my mouth making me drink her blood in the process as I was too shock at what she was doing

"I'm sorry" she said as she dropped her hand onto the ground as her body temperature was drastically dropping

As I was in a dazed shock as I slowly turned my head towards the vampire that dare kill my sister in the back and took care of them in rage

'I'm sorry for failing in protecting you Nora' I couldn't help but think as I carried my sister's body away leaving behind a village of violet and orange flames
