I'm tired....it hurts....cold....

...why am I cold?...

what happened...to me?...

"--il!"

...a voice

"Ne---ull!"

...who's calling me....

"Neil!"

...Neil...who's that?....

"Skull! wa-- -p!"

...Skull?...

...I remember now...

...I'm Skull now... not Neil...Neil died a long time ago...

...I was fighitng the Vendice...but then I was shot through the head....

Why am I still alive?...

Oh...Death hates me....

...I feel tired...

Enma's POV

"Skull wake up!" I shouted as I was trying to get Skull to respond and tell me he was okay but after the Vendice attacked us Skull protected us and got his head shot straight through

We were all in the hospital as I already got my injuries taken care of but I was more worried of Skull as had his entire head wrapped in bandages and he hasn't woken up

"Emma we have to let the doctors do their job to help him... all we could do now is hope he gets better..." said Adel as I felt devastated at the idea of leaving Skull's side

But I knew she was right as I gave one long look at the violet haired Arcobaleno before leaving the room

'I hope you get better Skull..." I thought as I tried my very best to keep calm for everyone's sake

Time skip

Skull's POV

'...why do I feel like I got hit by a truck straight to the head?...' I thought trying my best to wake up as my entire body feels sore and I have a major headache

When I opened my eyes it seemed as if they were covered by something as I reached up to feel bandages covering my face

"Uh...what happened?..." I asked sitting up holding my head up trying to remember how I ended up here in the first place

"It seems little Neil has finally awoken" said cheery voice as I knew who it was as I quickly took off the bandages on my face

I saw a young man who looked to be in his late twenties as he had dark midnight blue hair, hazel eyes and ghostly pale skin as he was wearing a blue dress shirt with a black tie, black slacks and formal shoes

I felt too tired and annoyed by this uninvited guest's presence "I haven't gone by Neil in a long time, Sire" I told him coldly as I was in no mood for this

"To me you will always be my little Neil!~" said the man in a sickly sweet tone with a big grin on his face that made me get very annoyed

"Get to the point of why you are here, Samuel" I demanded saying the man's name with sarcasm dripping from my tone

"Sorry! Sorry! But it seems that nasty curse no longer has a hold on you since your little friends finally broke it" He said pointing towards my chest as I wasn't prepared for what I saw

The Cloud pacifier is gone nowhere to be seen as I felt very light-headed because that cursed object is, it felt so weird and empty without it in it's usual place

"So you're no longer cursed and right now your body is trying to grow back up to where you supposed to look like physically" he told me as I felt like freaking out right now

"Then why are you here now!? What's the point if you didn't have in any interest in me for centuries or about this horrible curse!?" I screamed at him in complete rage

"Well I only came to deliver some news that I finally tracked down Nora's bloodline and guess what I found?" He said in a gleeful tone as I felt myself freeze at the name that came out of his mouth

'Why now did you tell me? Could it be- no it can't be that!? anything but that' was all I could think pleadings for no more of the suffering

"...it seems another Slayer will awaken in her Bloodline once again"
