"Big brother! Look what I found!" Shouted a voice as I turned around to see a young brown haired girl with bright bluish grey eyes as she wore a long dark green dress
"What did you find Nora?" I asked her as I faced her she then handed me an old box
Inside was an old silver pocket watch and a strange oriental knife of all things also an envelope as I took off the seal and read it out loud
"Dear Neil and Nora my precious children,
If you are reading this it means you have found the box and we are no longer with you
The pocket watch is for you Neil it is a very special watch that tells time and plays music I know how much you love music it may seem broken at first but there is no need to fix it the watch will give you the time you need
And the knife is for you Nora it belong to your mother and it will become the very thing that will forever change your life but you must choose wisely on how you use it

As I finished I took a look at the pocket watch as I tried to open it but it wouldn't budge as I decided to deal with it later
"Neil why do you think mom gave me a knife of all things" asked my sister as I just gave nonchalant shrug
"Well I have to go into town for some things so I will see in three days alright" I told her as I got my things ready
As I wore an oversized coat, a violet scarf and brown boots as I looked in the mirror making sure nothing was out of place as I saw my reflection as I had short fluffy brown hair, bright blue eyes and pale skin tone
"Bye! Neil have a safe trip!" I shouted my sister as I gave her a big hug goodbye as I went out the door
It snowed last night and the village is a day and a half away if you travel on foot as it was usually my job to make trips
Time skip
When I got to the village and got all of the supplies there was suddenly a heavy blizzard as I instantly panic
I needed to get back home to my sister as the villagers tried to stop me but I still kept going
"Nora!!!" I shouted in dismay as I tried to walk through the blizzard on foot as I knew something happened to Nora
I fell into the snow felt like the 8th time as I struggled to keep a steady breath as I was unable to get onto my feet
"Do you want to die?" Asked a voice as I struggled to bring my head up as my glazed eyes tried to focus on the figure in front of me
A man who seemed older than dark blue hair as he wore regal blue clothes that of a noble
"Who are you?" I couldn't help but ask as the man chuckled
"I am Samuel...as I asked before do you want to do?" He repeated the question as I tried to comprehend what was happening as I got up and stood on my two shivering legs
"I do not want to die...I have to find my...I need to find Nora..." I told him as I walked passed him as I didn't notice him smirking
Then he was in front of me again as his mouth was breathing right above my neck as I didn't have the strength to fight him off
"Then you shall no longer live as human... Neil" he said as he bite right into my neck as he cover my mouth with his other hand to silent me
I started to loose blood and feel light headed when he let me I fell onto myna I as the man was gone as my vision was dimming
As the white snow around me started turning blood red as I felt burst of violet orange tinted flames dance across my body as I lost conscience
The pocket watch opened as the hands started moving forward playing a soft melody
