Katniss POV

My eyes are closed as I remember his touch. His hands trailing my back, calming me during an asthma attack. His hand soothing mine. His lips on my forehead. His arms around my hips when me danced.

His warmth when he hugged me.

Now all gone.

I could now see the world around me but I cannot see who I want to see.

Whom I hid my fear of surgery from just to be able to see him.

Peeta was forced to leave.

The necklace he gave me is around my neck. The ring that was strung on the chain was on my finger.

"I will always find you" he wrote in the note.

But how do I know he's safe?

How do I know he'll find me?

I sit at the piano Clove plays.

Uncle Haymich says it was my father's.

There's a scrape on the side that looks familiar.

I press the keys playing random songs I had learned from my dad.

He taught meany things in the eleven years we were together.

To play piano, dance, and sing.

Piano took the most time. But it was worth it.

Music reminds me of my father. And Peeta. My father had a voice that could make music. Peeta did too.  Like a soothing lullaby.

I missed Peeta.

I missed my dad.

I couldn't have my father back no matter how hard I tried.

Peeta. I just have to find a boy I know but never seen.

Every memory I have of him is while I was blind.

Blind Memories.
