8 - New Song

RM: "Hey Y/n?"

Y/n: "Yea?"

RM: "You gotta produce a new song to perform at the concert in two weeks time."

Y/n: "A new- by myself?"

RM: "Yeah.. Can you do it in that time or do you need help?"

Y/n: "I... I actually have some sample songs to look at so I think I'll be ok."

RM: "Ok, great."

He was about to walk away but I stopped him.

Y/n: "Do I have to it by myself? Can't I do it with someone?"

RM: "I mean... You could I guess but make sure you have more of the lines."

Y/n: "Ok."

He smiled and walked out of the room.

I had an idea in mind.

I could duo with Jungkook!

I really don't want to do my first song in a concert by myself... That's the person I am.

But doing it with Jungkook... It could help getting closer to him too.

I got up and went to the kitchen where Jungkook was getting a glass of water.

Y/n: "Hey Jungkook?"

JK: "Yeah?" ~he asked taking a tip of water

Y/n: "Namjoon said I gotta make a song for the concert but I don't wanna do it by myself... So could you do it with me?"

JK: "Umm did he say you could do it with someone else?"

Y/n: "Yeah as long as I have majority of the lines."

JK: "...Umm..."

Y/n: "Pleaseeee Jungkookiee I don't wanna do it by myself"

He made an annoyed face, probably at me trying to be cute, then he sighed and said, "Okay then."

Y/n: "Yes!" ~I jumped up then asked, "Are you free now?"

JK: "Um yea"

Y/n: "Great! Come on!"

I grabbed his arm and took him to my room and I immediately started looking through my draws.

JK: "...What are you looking for...?"

Y/n: "These!"

I grabbed some papers and put them down on the bed.

He picked one up and looked at it.

Y/n: "I like writing songs in my free time... They're rough but we can work off one of them."

JK: "Whoa, these are rough? These are amazing!"

Y/n: "Really? Thanks!"

He smiled then looked at something in the draw.

JK: "What's this?"

He picked up a paper and I straight away realised what it was.

Y/n: "Oh, something I wrote when I first came here... It's bad, leave it."

He skimmed through the lines then said, "This is actually pretty good, a bit of editing and it'll be perfect."

Y/n: "...Huh?"

JK: "Yeah, come on."

He grabbed a pen and sat down and we edited some of the parts and set lines to each person.

JK: "Perfect!"

He looked at me and smiled and I smiled back.
